Pretty funny to see another new member from Clovis named Mike when I log in for the first time here!
I started playing in the mid 1980s. Learned by practicing tips from Golf magazine. I stopped playing in the late 90s and picked up drag racing again. So, after a 20 plus year layoff, I'm back at it.
At 65 years old, the ol' body just don't work the same way. Fortunately technology has improved a bit, so with a nice driver, I haven't lost too much distance there. Still using my 1980s irons though.
After a few months of playing and practicing the "touchy-feely" shots, I'm back to the mid 90s score-wise.
