Anybody ever replaced your 3 wood with a 4 wood?

Back in my last golf era, fairway woods off the deck were the last thing in my bag to get dialed in. Very useful to have those as a dependable shot once you trust them. I carried 3W always. I used to carry a 5W but then replaced that with a 2 iron. I saw one of my great golf partners hit driver off the fairway, so I worked on that also. Those usually worked. This was back before gigantic driver head days. TaylorMade Burner era.

Now I carry 3W and 5W both useful.

I realized I rarely hit the 3w so turned in my 3&5 for the 4w. Let’s me carry extra wedge

My bag has driver, 4w and 4h. Rest are irons and wedges

I used to carry a 4 and 5 wood because I couldn't get a 3 wood airborne worth a darn - low duck hooks were my specialty. Now its gotten to the point where the only FW I carry is a 5 wood, and my 5 wood trajectory is rather low.
