Has anyone put a second drink holder on their axglo? I was studying the chassis after my round yesterday to see if there was another spot to attach one

I’ve thought about it but I hang a cooler with my spare drinks in it. That’s working for now.Has anyone put a second drink holder on their axglo? I was studying the chassis after my round yesterday to see if there was another spot to attach one
Agree, the remote clip is far to loose and actually fell off my belt. Initially didn’t realise as I had remote in my hand. Will look for something else to hold it, but probably leave it attached to my key chain and in back pocket. The clear silicone cover is absolutely rubbish and not fit for purpose. Have emailed Axglo to enquire about the black cover (out of stock) to see if it’s the same. If not and is a better fit, I may purchase it and even push for it as a replacement.Maybe it’s just me, but I only used the remote clip for a couple of holes, then ditched it. I took that clear glove off too and just keep the slimmed down remote in my pocket.
Daddio,@mcy2163 I'm not sure if the E5 remote and covers are exactly like mine since I have the E3 but mine came with both covers. The black one fits very differently and is MUCH BETTER. I initially tried the silicone cover on mine and it was so awful I removed it just few holes into my very first round. Really good clearance for the charging plug with the black cover too. I 'remote' more than I 'follow' and probably slide the remote in and out of pocket 50+ times a round. My cover hasn't slipped at all in 100+ rounds.View attachment 9283759

The black cover is thicker and not nearly as stretchy as the clear one. Very similar material as the wrist strap on my golf watch (Garmin S62). Remote cover might be barely thinner (if that) with similar stretchiness and is proving to be very durable. You are correct in that there is nothing at all covering the controls when using the black remote cover. I think that was the issue with the super stretchy clear one though? Cover was inadvertantly applying pressures to the edges of the joystick button so my trolly seemed to have a mind of it's own several different times during those first few holes of my maiden Axglo round. I removed it and finished the round with a naked remote and the wonky movements were no more. I put the black cover on when I got home and had none of those inadvertant issues until maybe 70 rounds in. Was addressing a putt on #10 when a buddy chirped 'your cart is heading back to the clubhouse, have it pick up a beer for me too'. Reason for inadvertant movement (besides me forgetting to push 'lock' button) were some some flecks of dirt that had accumulated around and under the edges of the joystick button making it 'sticky'. I've since started cleaning those exposed controls about once a month. Corner of paper towel sheet dampened with alchohol works well around the joystick, so would those packaged lens cleaning wipes, I need to toss one in the bag for next time remote goes crazy.Daddio,
Many thanks for the photos. The control looks exactly the same as does the clear silicone case. I have emailed the UK sales team who have agreed with my findings and have apparently written back to the manufacturers. I’m hoping that this will result in either the black ones being sent out or a new design being made and distributed to those that have purchased an E5 trolley. I only received the clear one with the E5.
Is the black cover the same material and I assume from the photo that it only covers the top, back and bottom, leaving the control itself clear and accessible?
Many thanks

Hope Axglo does something to address the clear cover issues as you suggest. I'm sure many others appreciate your efforts reaching out to the sales team.
Funnily enough had an email from Axglo UK today and the gent I spoke with agrees with me in respect of the thin silicone one and has ordered the black cover for me free of charge. I do think it’s worth others who have experienced the same problems to reach out to Axglo, as without feedback from enough people I suspect they may not replace the clear one. Quite clearly there is a quality and control issue which they do need to address. The black cover is thicker and not nearly as stretchy as the clear one. If going down a curb, I still use follow. If going up a curb, I do it manually. For me, if going up the curb, the wheels just sit at the curb and spin (in follow mode). How do you navigate going over curbs? Do you take it out of follow mode and manually push it over or down a curb?
As with anything in life, there is always a learning curve to make it look seamless and efficient. It will take you a few rounds to find your groove, when to use it in follow mode, when to switch to cruise etc. I played around with it in my back yard before I used it for the first time on the course and had no issues, but like I said, there is certain efficiency to it one you have used it a few times. What is the learning curve like? Is there a good tutorial video out there? I envision myself getting paired with three people I don't know and making a fool of myself trying to work this thing for my first round!
I have the regular battery and have yet use more than 30% for one round. Is it necessary to order the larger battery if you only plan to play 18 holes at a time? Also, what are the must have accessories?
I bought the cary case. this is nice to keep de back of the car clean on wet days.I have the regular battery and have yet use more than 30% for one round.
I bought their seat, although I don't actually sit down all that often (I play early morning rounds).
I also bought the biggest umbrella on amazon.
The curve isn't steep but I'll still mess up every now and then if not paying attention. I've had guys rib me when I do but I'm always playing with 'friends' and we're brutal with each other regardless. Preferably find a place to mess around with it a little before you take it on the course, especially so if you've never had a remote/follow cart before and/or you're worried about what strangers are thinking. IME most strangers are full of questions and want to know all about my cart 1st time they see it. I know of 2 who've bought their own remote carts since. What is the learning curve like? Not necessary. I have the standard battery and it's rated to do 36 holes easily. I've not done 36 yet but we often shotgun start in my larger skins group and I've needed to start and return from way out on a very hilly course a number of times. A few of those rounds ended up over 9 miles long and I never used up 40% of my battery life on any of them. I think my E3 has the same motors and wheels and weighs within a few ounces of the E5 so they both should get similar battery life.Is it necessary to order the larger battery if you only plan to play 18 holes at a time? Also, what are the must have accessories?

I find the drink holder a little large and loose. It holds a Gatorade bottle fine and bigger bottles do seem more Snug. Is the hydroflask one of the wider body ones?I am glad you mentioned the drink holder. The drink holder might be an area of improvement. I've lost (and found) both my hyrdoflask and plastic water bottles that somehow fall off during a round. I no longer trust it with my hyrdoflask...
I am careful over curbs and often simply walk along until I find a non-curbed entry point. If not, I take it off follow me mode - but be careful traversing a curb like you would in a normal pushcart. The handles do not give me a good feeling that they would last when using leverage to raise the cart over a curb.
