Anything Better than Uncrustables

I like them almost frozen. However, visited some friends awhile back and the kids battered them and deep fried them. Holy crap!!!

I don't get the uncrustables craze. Peanut butter is one of my favorite foods. Most of the time I eat it straight from the jar. But I haven't had a peanut butter and jelly (or any other thing they mix it with) sandwich in 30 years.

If you really want me to eat to eat an uncrustable, stuff it with bologna or cheesesteak.

I never understood this as well, its an f'ing expensive pb&j with additional preservatives. If I am in the mood for a PB&J, I'll make one from scratch with good preserves and chunky peanut butter (tough recipe). If I'm looking for a snack at the turn, I'll pack a sandwich made to my liking or get a brat (with onions and sauerkraut) at the turn.

Because of this thread, I bought and tried the Crust Offs in Strawberry. The wife will not allow grape jelly in the house or anywhere near where she can smell it. Blames it on her mom who forced her to eat grape jelly every day of her life.

It is a great snack for the turn, but a bit messy. Thanks for the suggestion.

I think @Junkyard had his first one on the Ocean Course, so he has that going for him.

I have checked, and they are available in Canada. I will probably try a box when the golf season finally rolls around, because apparently if you put one frozen in your bag by the time you make the turn it will be just about perfect.

im just a classic peanut butter and grape jelly uncrustable guy, I need to start packing them as a snack in my golf bag.

I think I ate about 15 of them in Disney a couple weeks back (we packed some snacks each day).
I had my first uncrustable ever while at Kiawah. It was sheer perfection. Chilled peanut butter and grape.

I've never had an Uncrustable. Ever.

I’m cheap, so I’ve been on the strawberry “crust offs” from Costco. I think it’s the perfect golf snack.
I bought my son a couple boxes of the grape and I find them to be superior. Real sugar instead of HFCS.
