Are you married to a ball? If not, why not?

Does visual tech get you to keep or change balls more often?
It doesn’t keep me from trying but it is a factor in being a ball I return to.

It’s like going to your favorite greasy spoon and your go to is the cheeseburger. You might go in a time or two and get the chicken sandwich as a change of pace, but you always come back to the cheeseburger.

I’m with you, I do want to try the yellow Tru Track.
I've been playing CS Yellow Tru-Track and they are the "Bomb"
Color and Graphics are really good, I recommend the color combo

Yes. Me and bridgestone have been monogamous since about 2011.

Went b xs to b x about 4 years ago

Not at all. I like trying new things. Eventually I will settle on something for the season but I like to have options whether that is cost or performance.

Not really. I like the taylormade pix and seeing the thing happen when I roll one good makes me happy. I switch between those, the plain white balls and the plain yellow balls throughout a round. The plain balls get a sharpie line for alignment while putting.

Chrome Tour line. The TT alignment of the ERC brought me in originally when it first came out. Grandaddy kept me where I’m at of course, but I’d be in Callaway regardless because they have the best alignment offerings out there. Helps that the CT line is incredible. I don’t really need to worry about whether I’m losing out on anything by playing them

Committed to Chrome Soft. That's the ball I'm playing in '24.

I am not, I have done Ballnamic a few times and it suggests to me 3 balls (one is simply not tenable at the prices they sell for). I have tried the 2 others and I like them - so as my stash of balls decreases, I will likely look for more of those Ballnamic recommendations.

Chrome Tour is where I'm currently at and I don't see that changing anytime soon. My scores have been improving - maybe it's the ball, maybe it's me playing better, but whatever it is, I see no reason to try something else.

I have a stash of TP5 and Srixon Divides that are just collecting dust. Everytime I think I may need to dip into them, Callaway releases a new special edition ball and I buy it.

Currently playing Srixon Z Stars which I like as they are good in the wind, important here in the UK. But I'm tempted to try Vice Pro Plus so might buy a dozen.

I have a 4 dozen pack of both Chrome Tour and CTX.

With new clubs I am doing testing again to decide which to play.

Yes. I'm not blessed with the greatest eyesight, and the vintage Wilson balls that I'm using up now are a Day-Glo orange that are super easy for me to see--that's what got me to buy them in the first place. If I see a ball on the store shelves that catches my eye with enhanced visibility, I'm going to consider trying it.

I really want to try the Chrome Tour and probably will next season. I still have about 3-4 dozen Srixon Z Star XV divides to go thru though so I don't really feel like I need to buy any balls at this point.
I was there a little earlier this season. It only took a couple holes with the CT to realize I was leaving some great performance on the table. Got me to dig into the lineup more and now here I am...decent stockpile is sitting in the garage that I've moved on from and instead deciding between CT and CS.

I went from CS to CT so I get it.

Prior to this year, it was the Tp5. I was on the subscription model for them and really liked the ball.

However, for Christmas I was gifted a dozen Titleist AVX and absolutely love the ball. It flies flatter which I need and feels great off the irons/putter.

While it certainly isn't for anyone (low spin), it works for me and my current bag setup...

Once ballnamic put me in the tour bx, I tried to stay with it as long as I could... Then the new tp5 came out and I really like(d) that... And theennnn, the srixon 2-for-1 on the zstar diamond came out and I've been pretty much playing those. I still have a few dozen tour BX's and I plan to go back to playing that ball but nope, I can't fully commit... To anything apparently.

Stone Tour B RXS in cooler weather. Windy weather. I just like it. Softer thsn I prefer. But it's spin is just right ( about 200-225 rpm per degree of loft). So it doesn't spin back out of control on softer greens. Bores through the wind well.

TP5X. Great all around ball, long, à bit more spin than the RXS. Great firm feel.

Srixon Z Star XV. Firm, the flight just works, the longest urethane ball I have ever hit. Great in the wind. Decent spin profile, maye just a scoonch lower than the TP5X, but dang are these balls long.

I’ve got a trophy wife. I spend a lot of money on Chrome Tours.

Based on the rate I loose them and still keep reloading.

Pretty married. I tried to cheat on it a bunch the other day but ran into the little things issue. Like putting speed. I like to not be questioning that stuff out there.

I lol’d

I’ve gone back and forth between the CT and CTX this year. Honestly can’t decide which I like better. Part of that is because my game has completely cratered and I can’t seem to find and consistent ball striking.

Hard to gauge a ball if you aren’t striking it well, is what you are seeing because of strike or the ball?

More of a friends with benefits kinda deal right now, the right one will be along.

I used to be like this but Tru Track changed the game.
I really like TruTrack. My current stock is all Triple Track, but I'm going to stock up on TruTrack next time I find a sale on them.

Have been primarily using the Bridgestone RX model ever since they have been making them (around 14 years I believe) so I think that justifies a marriage.
