Atlanta area

Hi guys,

I have off the last week of September and was going to visit a friend around the Chemblee/Atlanta area. He has to work, so I planned on playing a round or two while I’m in the area. Any suggestions?

My office is in Chamblee, the zip is 30341. If you googoo public golf near 30341 several pop up nearby. If those don't interest you and you don't mind driving shoot me a PM and I'll see if I can find something else.
If you didn't have so many nice vistas between Pittsburgh and Butler I would send you north to one of the prettiest mountain courses I've played. One is 1.5 hours NW from where you will be and the other is about 2.5 hours. Just a bit hillier than your area.

Not a lot of great public courses in that area. The Bobby Jones course in Atlanta was just redone and I've heard great things, but have never been. Heritage in Tucker is a great layout, but condition is hit or miss. Echelon in Alpharetta and Cobblestone in Acworth are great tests of golf.
