Welcome! Same thing as you but mine was about a 12 year break, just picked it back up last year again. Good luck with everything. Quite a few of us from the Kansas City area here. Glad you're back in the saddle!

Had a big break myself, so I’ll bring you up to speed:

1. All the guys we used to watch are on this thing called the “Champions Tour” now.
2. Your belt must match your headcovers.
3. Getting yardage from a fairway marker or sprinkler head is a no-no. It must be laser ranged to the inch.
4. If you don’t have all your data from a simulator, you can’t play.
5. It’s not “playing” anymore. Now you’re “gaming”.
6. Guys still fight over “blades vs. cavity backs.
7. 300 yard drives are normal.
8. Music while playing is a thing.
9. You must carry 7 wedges:
A. Pitching wedge
B. Utility wedge
C. Gap wedge
D. Tweener wedge
E. Sorta sand wedge
F. Sand wedge
G. Lob wedge. Also known as the “lobster”
10. Round your handicap to the nearest thousandth.

Good news is that the ball is still round!
