I’m am thinking about bending my PTx Pro irons 1* stronger. Loft jacking is the trend apparently these days?! I kid, I kid! I would like to bring my ball flight down some and possibly knock off a little spin. Will 1* do this or barely be noticeable? Do I need to go 2*? Hogan irons have ”traditional” lofts at 4i-22* 5i-26* 6i-30* 7i-34* 8i-38* 9i-42* PW-46*.

I think that 2° would alter the bounce too much , I think 1° should be sufficient to accomplish what you are looking to do...

I ordered my 1 degree strong across the board from the factory and turf interaction has been fine with the 1 degree decrease in bounce.

Do you agree that 2° Strong might be too much?

It probably would be. Especially when getting into the longer irons that don't have much bounce at the stock loft to begin with.

@Jman Didn't you bend your PTx Pro irons? What did you see as the result?
