I'm shopping for my own Father's Day gift, and this year I wanted a new stand bag. I currently have a cart bag that I won from THP and a 10-year-old Belding Comp stand bag. The Belding was an OK bag - light (5lbs), good-looking and well-made (looks like new after all these years), but it has a FOUR-way small top, and the grips of my clubs are always getting tangled which lately has been annoying.
I'm not a fan of golf bags with the names of club manufacturers on them, so I've landed on just a couple of golf bags that I like. The bag has to have a 14-way top. Lightweight is a bonus since I often carry my clubs, but it would be nice if the bag fit well on my pushcart (BB EZ-Fold). The two I've landed on are the Sun Mountain Four 5 and the Bennington Zone III. I had a Bennington bag a long time ago, and it was very well made, but it's hard to find any reviews of the Zone III bag. There are tons of good reviews of the SM 4-5, but I think I don't know if it's worth $200.
Anyone have any insight or opinions of the Bennington bag?
