besides clubs, what's in your bag?

I feel you, im a bad hand man too.

something actually happened down in Orlando that snapped whatever was loose back into place

I was at the range for a couple of hours yesterday, and thats mats by the way, and my hand doesn't hurt at all really today. Glad I was banging balls out down at the show... hurt like hell while I was testing clubs though

Is it scar tissue?

there's an issue with my bone structure where the hand connects with the wrist... it's causing the tendon/cartilage to rub and become irritated

they'd have to go in and shave down my bones... ie, miss YEARS of golf (he stressed at least three years without ANY intensive activity to the hand, no thanks doc)

I had the same problem on my left wrist. They said if they got rid of the cartilge it might help ease the pain and if not we would look into shaving down the bone. Its been 3 years since I had the surgery to get rid of the cartilge and it is way better, and it was only 3 months of down time until I was on a dirt bike again. Then I broke my dam collar bone, but thats a different story.

hmm... he never mentioned that. I'll have to call and see what he says

Go to a couple of specialists. I went to three and I liked what I heard from the third. I ended up at USC with one of the proffesors doing my wrist. It was a quick outpatient procedure.

I walk all year round regardless of weather. I usually carry in the winter and the bag is pretty light with perhaps a banana, rule book, tees and balls, Skycaddie, small flask of hot chocolate and Galvin Green waterproofs.

In nicer weather I use a cart bag on an electric trolley. When this is the case then I pack THE LOT! Spare clothes, lip salve, snacks, at least 2 bottles of frozen water, you name it and it's in there. lol.

You must have a bag two times the size of a staff bag.

same... phone is on silent /vibrate

my bag has a nice feltish valuable pouch so even on vibrate you don't hear it through the bag

I'll answer for Paul if that's ok. In the UK a biscuit is what you guys call a cookie. A biscuit bar is usually an individually wrapped cookie, like a granola bar or a cookie covered in chocolate.

What you call biscuits, we call scones. These are always sweet and NEVER eaten with savoury foods as you do with fried chicken etc. We eat scones with raspberry jam and clotted cream. A big treat and not to be eaten too often if you are watching your weight!

Okay, I admit it--the first time I saw that word, I missed the "L" in it.

Which leads me to say that the only material in my bag with words and/or pictures is my little golf rules book, with that fellow dropping balls on the tundra.

I was asked if I smoked "fags"

&

Mayo came all over my fries... what's up with that?

Let's see.

  • Motrin
  • Gatorade
  • Sharpie
  • Pen
  • Phone (mines on silent or vibrate but I check it while walking to my ball or the next tee. I text while I play...)
  • Wallet
  • Car Keys
  • Power Bar, peanut butter

That;s all I can think of right now.

Nah....i am good at packing and i lied about the kitchen sink!

So if I ordered bisquits and gravy in England, they would look at me funny?

Yes they would. We have gravy and we have biscuits. they dont go together!....not the cookie type of biscuit....or the scone type!!:bomb:

Mayo on fries.....not in england. That must be an irish thing. Generally just ketchup, brown sauce, or barbecue sauce for chips.

I thought a Scone in the US was a top of the muffin. :confused2: Im so confused now.

With all this talk and pictures I'm hungry now.
