Best Candy as a Child?

Runts as a kid

Holy cow I didn’t know they still made them. I remember thinking I got more for my money therefore they had to be better
I love mambas, these even have tropical flavor now.

Fun Dip and Big League Chew are the ones I remember

Chocolate candy bars. Not particular about which ones either.

As a kid, the best candy had a novelty to it, like Fun-Dip or Big League Chew.

Nerds
Laffy Taffy
Runts

But I remember getting lemonheads/grapeheads/cherry heads when they were like $0.10 for that little box.

Taffy
Bottle caps
Fun dip
Smarties

Dots - predecessor to Drops
Chocolate covered peanuts
Cinnamon & gummy bears - still are
Bubble gum cigars

Most of my childhood, 10 years of it, was in the UK as my dad was in the Air Force. Always loved the Cadbury Crunchie bar.

Jolly Ranchers, Reece’s, Now or Laters, orange slices, and Mike and Ike’s (still have a weakness for these).

Salt water taffy at the Pike amusement park in Long Beach, CA. Licorice flavor was my favorite.

As a kid, my favourite was always penny candy from the corner grocery. It was so much fun trying to maximize $1 worth of stuff, pennies at a time.

Giant chewy sweet tarts

Charleston Chew. Foot long so you got your money's worth

Reggie bar

I loved runts, nerds, and sour patch kids

Crunchie bars FTW. That’s one of my all time favorites as well.
