I have been spending a decent amount of time on the dormie network website lately and thought this would be a fun question.

Rank them from what you think is the best to worst.

I don't have a reference point but Briggs is fantastic.

I'm saying Ballyhack since that's the only place I've been. But I will be able to compare to Hidden Creek and GrayBull later this year

I liked Vic more than Ballyhack.

Briggs Ranch and Ballyhack were pretty darn close for me. If you include the outdoor area I think I would lean toward Briggs Ranch but unsure. Close.

thats why I provided pictures. lol. I have only been to Dormie Club. But I am 99% sure it isnt their best. In fact. I think based off the pictures it is the worst.

Only been to Ballyhack and Briggs. Of those I say Briggs. Ballyhack has a better pro shop of the two.

Based off the pictures here is my rank.

1. Briggs Ranch
2. Arbor Links
3. GrayBull.
4. Victoria National
5. Hidden Creek
6. Ballyhack
7. Dormie Club

I really liked Ballyhack clubhouse, very cool and rustic farmhouse vibe. Dormie Club is underwhelming, love the course though.

Based on purely pictures for the others, I LOVE Briggs. Will get to check out Hidden Creek in two months, based on pictures it looks like top 3 for me.

Man this is harder than I thought it would be.

briggs is decent in a great way.
Ballyhack and Dormie are nice and modern but not country club feel.
Arbor is amazing because of the downstairs that has a killer area.
Vic is old school and classy.
I’m going to say it’s Hidden Creek. you would never guess it’s a modern property.

Finally GrayBull is just different and really cool

Interesting... Hidden Creek from the picture of the outside looks really nice and old school but potentially a little plain.

I’ve been to Briggs and Dormie. Both great but I liked Briggs better. Ballyhack looks great in pictures.

Of the ones I have been to.....Hidden Creek > Ballyhack > Dormie Club

Hidden Creek felt exclusive and the locker room was much better than the other two.

I've only been to Hidden but it's a FANTASTIC clubhouse. Nothing about the outside tells you what's inside. And the view of it coming home on 9 is just incredible.

I think Victoria National and Arbor Links look the coolest from the outside

I think Briggs is the best I've been to. From those pics Victoria National, GrayBull and Arbor all look good.

Hidden Creek has an old school country club vibe to it

I've only been to Briggs, and it was amazing, but I hear the entire experience at Bull is unbelievable

The only two I've been to so far have been Hidden Creek & Ballyhack. Of those, I thought Ballyhack was better. Only because of the location ...sitting on the hill, with the scene of mountains surrounding you. It's just amazing (y) Not to mention it's in my home state

for me Dormie Club > Ballyhack

Dormie:
very comfortable inside for casual meals, formal meals, and hanging out at the bar.
i kind of liked that the pro shop and locker room were in a separate building.
the pro shop was spacious and easy to browse, the locker room was nice with great showers.
no views to speak of though from either inside or out, mostly because things are pretty flat.

Ballyhack:
the inside felt a bit crowded to me for casual meals and the bar wasn't a good spot to hang out; the formal meal room was very nice.
the pro shop was a touch tight as well, with gear overflow into the hallways on both sides.
the locker room was very nice, plenty of room, though the showers weren't up to the rest of it.
the views from inside and out were fantastic.

this is very relative, as these places are super nice. critiques are in relation to other premium courses only.

i'm excited to check out Victoria National in a little over a month! the pics here and in other threads make it look tremendous.

I agree on locker rooms in Ballyhack. My only major knock on that one.
But Dormie locker room and clubhouse are the same building. Out the back of the proshop and its right there.

From the outside they all look fantastic. Have only been to Ballyhack so, while probably not the PC thing to say, I thought that clubhouse was average on the inside. Not really your typical clubhouse for an upscale facility where there is a nice locker room, grill room etc. Part of that is because of the cottages- which are fantastic. With the cottages you don't need a locker room and all that goes along with that. Pro shop was great, the private dining room was very nice but the rest of the interior spaces were the dining facility and bar and that was about it if I remember correctly.

Of course its PC.
I agree, although I think the main dining room with the fireplace is really nice.
So is the patio overlooking the entire back 9.
I feel as though the locker room is such a miss there. Especially when directly next to it, you have a storage room/meetings space, that could be repurposed so you could expand the locker room and make it as nice as the others.

Judging off of places I've seen, I'll give Briggs a very slight edge over Dormie. I could change my mind tomorrow tho Lol. Dormie had the lovely smell more prominent when you walk in. I'm excited to see Vic National later in the year too.

yeah, what i meant is that the pro shop/locker room were in a separate building from the bar/restaurant.
i like how that set-up worked.
