Srixon Q-Star. I’ve played that one for awhile. And you can find them at a very reasonable price.

The only knock on the ball is the cover stains a bit faster than other balls. It really is a surprisingly great ball!
Maybe that would be another thing to add to when listing your favorite ball. Just how much does it cost for a box? To me cheap would be anything around $30 or less probably.Depends on what we consider cheap. I think the Q Star Tour and Maxfli Tour are the best performing sub-$40 balls that I’ve played.
I’ll mix play with it and my pro x and they play very similar for meI've seen those lately as well. Think a buddy of mine was playing them one time and he seemed to like them.
Haven't tried those yet. Have used the cheaper RB ones though and for the price the RB Max are pretty good. The Maxfli Tour balls are an excellent buy when you get the 4 dzn pack. The Mizuno Pros on the buy 2 get 1 deal works out to $35/dzn. I have limited time with the MP S and X but liked the X.
Depends on what you want the ball to do and the feel you want. Generally, the Maxfli Tour X compares fairly well with the ProV1x. As I understand it, the Tour and Tour S are comparatives for V1 and AVX, respectively.Ok was looking at some of the balls you guys mentioned. I see the Maxfli Tour, do you recommend any of the tour line or a particular one from that line?
Yeah I get what you're saying. I really can't say a whole lot about what I want it to do, as I'm still pretty much a casual golfer (when it comes to spin, etc.). At the time when it comes to stuff I mostly just go with how does it feel when I hit it. I've had some balls that when I hit it, it just didn't feel right to me and some when I hit it, I was like... yeah that felt good. The only thing I can say for sure about what I don't like is, I don't play off colored balls (yellow) etc. Just something about them that doesn't feel right to the touch or when I hit it. Could totally be something on the mental side with me, but just never liked them.Depends on what you want the ball to do and the feel you want. I've played the Superfast, don't like it as well as the Supersoft. The Supersoft was my ball for several years, I think it's a great ball at its price point. I'm not sure there's another ball in that tier that matches up to it.Bridgestone e6 would get the nod from me. Haven't played the new e6 Soft, though.
There's a seemingly inexhaustible supply of e6, e12 Contact, Superfast, Warbird 2.0, Diablo, and other non-current models at my local retailers. If I ever see closeout pricing on Superfast, I just might stock up on those.
I'll bring a sleeve of the CTTD Sunday for you. Or maybe I shouldn't, might get you hookedThe only knock on the ball is the cover stains a bit faster than other balls.
Thinking about my current ball situation and Callaway and Bridgestone being on 2 year release cycles. There is a pretty good argument for just playing Maxfli for the rest of the year when the current ball supply runs low and waiting for next year refreshes.
