Between the Southwest summer sale going on, and a get the 3rd night free promotion at Park Hyatt Aviara, I am thinking about pulling the trigger on a San Diego/Carlsbad trip.

Traverse City Michigan region!!! The entire region is full of wineries, breweries, shops, restaurants, spa resorts, .....as well as top notch golf courses. The views from any of the Lake Michigan coast cities are amazing, in my opinion better than most ocean views. You will not be sorry if you take a mid-summer trip there. The attached pic is pretty much what you'll view from anywhere in that region. You could spend an entire summer there and never visit the same place twice!
