Bettinardi Putter Thread
I personally find the roll control face a bit firmer to my feel than the older FIT faces. On a technical level, I’ve heard that with the same swing, the RC face starts the ball off a bit quicker. I have typically found the older FIT faces a bit soft for me (harder for me to get the speed right from 15+ feet away) and so the RC seemed to me to be moving more toward the feel of the flymill faces. I generally like it but haven’t used one as a gamer. I tend to recently game either a nano face or ghost face (no milling). Between my SS17 with RC and my SS17 with nano face, I prefer to game the one with nano face because it feels firmer and more responsive to me with my stroke.
Picked up this Inovai 6.0 Stinger yesterday while visiting the Hive.

Bettinardi recently released a new Hexpermental Prototype. I was lucky enough to pick one up last week from the Camp Betti drop.

I really hope FedEx hasn't done something stupid. I live 15 miles from Bettinardi and my putter shipped Wednesday. Delivery date has been pending since Saturday
The thread made me pull out an old Hogan made by Bettinardi Anser type putter. I need to give it a try soon.

Just went through my first putter fitting ever and despite all my guesses and assumptions, it looks like a Bettinardi Inovai 6.0 was the winner. Never tried one before but it just felt so good to hit. Glad to see other folks love these too!

Do you mind talking a little more about why you love it? I never considered a Bettinardi before today's fitting, but l was putting with the 6.0 like it was some magic wand. I know it was on a putting surface and not real greens, but it just sounded, felt and performed so smoothly - I put it aside initially but kept coming back to it over and over again.
Few reasons-
1. The fit face gets the balling rolling end over end faster for me. I always wanted to be a Scotty guy but the milling on the face isn't right for me with those.
2. Sightlines, I love the three lines, especially the one on top. With the spud neck, I can see the ball really well. I draw a line on my ball and for some reason I can see the ball, the lines, and my line better with the putter. I think it is how the putter sits but something about it is right.
3. There is a good weight to the putter and balance that helps come straight back, straight through.
