Rory completing the Grand Slam?
After nearly gagging it away on the first hole, he comes back with a vengeance only to gag it away on 18 missing a short putt. Then throws a dagger on the first hole of bonus golf to not only win the Masters, but complete the Grand Slam.

Tiger Woods 2019?
Dead an buried some might argue and despite being the most popular (loved and hated) golfer of the generation, very few thought he could still compete. Not only did he compete, he did the improbable and won the Green Jacket.

Which is the bigger win and why?

TIger and it's not really close imo.

Rory's win was special, but Tiger's win is on a different level.

Great question: most important to the game was Tiger just on his impact.

Biggest win: Rory. He is now in a select list of grand slam winners that can never be overlooked

Some of it depends on what follows. If this Master's win opens a flood gate for Rory allowing him to go on a big run and prop up the PGA Tour in their dispute with LIV giving them a much needed winning Superstar then it will be Rory.

Until that happens it's Tiger.

I'm going Rory. Against all odds, 11 years on the chase, pressure mounting every year, finally gets it done.

Tiger was remarkable, but we all knew he could string together four days.

I’ll have to say Rory since it put him in rare air. Tigers win was remarkable/stunning/surprising, no question. All me again later, my answer could change.

I'm just the opposite... I think it's Rory and not close.

Tiger's in 2019 is prob my fav Masters. But he was already the best ever, already had won the Masters, and had the Grand Slam. The comeback story was amazing.

Rory's yesterday was historic. Only 5 others had completed what he did yesterday. The only other one in the last 50 years was Tiger. With all the pressure (which could be seen & felt) on that guy and he got it done. He became a legend yesterday... Tiger already was in '19.

Tiger. He’s is the needle in golf. Rory has his fans but not nearly the legions that Tiger has. Not to mention the flash back to Tigers win when he hugged his dad and then when he hugged Charlie in 2019.

Just my opinion because of the impact Tiger had on me and the game of golf - it's Tiger. Rory was still cool to see, but nowhere close in my opinion.

I vote Rory.

Tiger’s win was more nostalgia. He had already summited the peaks to summit and had the closest thing to a natural grand slam we’ll likely ever see in our lifetimes. Yes he was still chasing Jack but most everyone accepted that he wasn’t going to catch him.

This win got Rory into an elite class few others have achieved. Huge.

I’ll go with Rory. Overcoming the scar tissue of so many attempts, and in stunning fashion. Hopefully it’s the start of some more dominate play.

Tiger’s last win was special, but was about the last time he played good golf. It was an emotional comeback, but short lived.

Man, I dunno. Right now it feels like Rory because it basically is the crowning achievement of an already impressive career. It moves him from a really good golfer with demons to right in the conversation of all-time elite. That is gigantic.

Tiger's 2019 was incredible, improbable, something no one thought he would get back to. It was a cherry on top of his career, a giant cherry, but didn't really change the overall narrative.

when we are 5 or 10 years down the road, it'll be interesting to see if it still feels the same.

I don’t know - my gut it Tiger. But he had won the Masters before so for him it was a gutsy win but without the stress of so long being close and never getting it.

I gotta go with Rory. All the doubts all the years of frustration all the anguish. And to drop a shot into the creek on 13? Still rally back and win? Yeah, Rory

Both incredible for their own reasons, but I’ll give it to Rory for the career grand slam element alone (and I LOVED watching Tiger’s win in 2019). I’ll add that Rory really had to go win this yesterday, battling both himself and the field. Several major gut check moments, and despite nearly pissing it away he held it together and got it done. That’s big and not something many of us were sure he had in him anymore.

I’m going with Rory on this one. Tiger had proved that he knew how to play and that you never could count him out. Rory’s been chasing this thing for 11 years and just having a disaster trying to do it. Even this year was almost a disaster. This win probably is better compared to the 86 masters with Jack.

This is a tough one. At first I’m thinking Tiger no doubt. Then as you start to look at how yesterdays round played out. Rory could have collapsed at any moment. Doubles off the bat and then comes back and gets 2 quick birdies. Hits a couple wild tee balls followed by a couple really great 2nd shots. The double on the par 5 from 85 or so yards is when I thought he was going to implode. He some how found a way to comeback from each bad hole. The approach on 18 in regulation was horrendous then to follow that up with a dart on the playoff hole was special. Rollercoaster of emotion no doubt. His emotions after then win sealed it for me. It has to be Rory’s win to finally seal up the grand slam.

IMO, both are very significant wins, to me the bigger win is Rory's because it gave him the slam.

I think they both are equal. I would present Jack in 86 as an alternative though. At age 46 and winning his sixth masters was pretty emotional.

This. Nothing to add. No notes.

I’m going with Rory.

Trying to think about this from different angles and I believe Rory had a lot more to lose yesterday than Tiger did in 2019.

Both were epic in and of themselves, Tigers was more an ending. Something wants me to believe this is another beginning for Rory.

2019 will always, to me, be the greatest comeback win in the history of sport

Man tough question. I think I have to go Tiger...because of the comeback aspect of it. Rory's story is good one but he almost gagged it away

Rory.

There are only a few with the career grand slam. And this was the first in 24 years. That's a different kind of special.

Tiger's win was a pure shot of nostalgia and emotion to the system of every golf lover. Really cool to witness, but not the same.

I'm a prisoner of the moment. Tiger's win was nostalgia.

Rory's win was a landmark.

I'm going with the 2025 champion on this one.

And Tiger needed guys to choke.
