I'll get this out of the way from the start - yes, Instagram ads got me.

That said, I was intrigued enough after checking out their site, https://birdiproshop.com/, to pull the trigger on a set and replace the Oakleys in my bag.

While it will be awhile before I get to play outside with them, I was immediately impressed with the build quality and fit. Their big selling point is the "LightPro Technology® By Zeiss®" which they claim eliminate "47% of polarized light."

Since improved vision on the course is a good thing, I'm excited to give them a shot. And based on the fit and feel, if you already wear sunglasses on the course, they're worth checking out!

Anyone else rocking these already?

Never heard of them but I appreciate the straight temples.

Never seen the brand, but I like the shape of these.

I'm putting these to use tomorrow, but I suspect they'll be more to block wind instead of glare. #wintergolf

Those look nice.

Generally for golf the advice is to wear non-polarized glasses as polarized ones block direct/low angle light and make it harder to read the green.

I have a pair of Knockaround that claim "partial" polarization designed for golf use. I wonder if it's similar and how these will be for you.

Yeah some of the claims seem to be a bit much so I'm interested to see how they work. And based on the forecast Saturday, there will be plenty of wind so it will be a good test case!

I read a bit on their website and it seems like the same idea as mine: partial polarization so it cuts down glare but still allows you to see enough glare on the green to get a good read. Zeiss glass is well known so seems pretty solid.

Most important question / callback to a different thread: did you buy them because the singer from Rascall Flatts is their influencer???

Haha, I didn't even notice that! But I'm more of a hip hop guy ;)

Alright, these sunglasses are legit. They're super comfortable, don't move around unnecessarily and most important, they cut down on glare big time and made it easier to track golf balls. Most everything seemed a lot sharper and the only time I lost track of a ball is when the shot was directly into the sun. 5/5 stars for sure, and worth a look if you're in the market for sunglasses to use while playing golf.
