Thought I'd get a thread going on this, since there's a decent field competing this week at Gut Larchenhof.

Story of the first round has to be England's Chris Wood. 65 on the first day, after running the last 3.5km to the course in order to make his tee time! Stuck in traffic and not moving, they got out and legged it, making it just in time!

Some low scoring going on. Notables at the moment are - Fabrizio Zanotti at the top at -10 after 9 holes of round 2, Chris Wood one shot back. Bernhard Langer showing some home form at -5 for the day and overall.

John Daly at -4, yet to start his second round. Sergio at -3, through 11. Jiminez the same. Paul Casey at +4.....sorry TMex. :disapointed:

I've always like the BMW open and wonder why more Americans don't play in it, The Championship get a solid field. That's crazy about Chris Wood having to run to make his tee time lol, and then throws a 65 out there, Wow!

Daly seems to be playing well.
