As the weather cools down the board games come out. On tap for the weekend is “macgyver escape room” board game.

There are five missions. One hour each. Each can only be done once though because of the cutting of papers etc.

A game longer than monopoly!?!?!

I've played Axis and Allies for 8 hours, during my college days. It can take a very long time with a group of guys that know how to play the various countries.

We've always played a ton of board and card games.

My favourites currently:

• Carcassonne
• Ticket to Ride (all maps give different challenges)
• Samurai
• Thurn & Taxis
• Catan Histories - Struggle for Rome (like it more than normal Catan)
• Bang the Card Game
• Munchkin (absolute blast, if you appreciate the humour)
• Exploding Kittens

I've played Axis and Allies for 8 hours, during my college days. It can take a very long time with a group of guys that know how to play the various countries.

We had one Axis and Allies game go for 14 hours

And it’s still not done! We marked everything and packed it away.

We have been busy and haven't gotten together with the neighbor recently but with fall arriving, I'm sure game nights will start back up soon.
