Breaking 80 with Adam Rank

A little context for the round:

Hole 1: Drove right. Bad swing. My approach was over a sand trap. Landed on the green but leaked off. Bump and run with an 8-iron to within 6-feet. Blew it for the bogey.

Hole 2: Drove the green from 232. Missed a 12-footer for Eagle. Tap-in birdie which is always kind of fun.

Hole 3: Brutal tee shot was long, but was helped by hitting a tree closer to the green. Missed an 8-footer for what could have been a par save.

Hole 4: Tough uphill Par 3. Landed just off the green. Bump and run an 8 for a tap in par.

Hole 5: Amazing tee shot, but ball landed in a divot. Played out of it because I was on a heater and dreaming of being even. Got too much earth with the approach shot to miss the green. Toughest green on the course and ended up with bogey.

Hole 6: Great tee shot. On in one. About 20 feet away. Settled for tap-in par.

Hole 7: Great drive. Long approach but on in two. Missed an 18-footer for bird. Tap-in par.

Hole 8: Don't know what happened with the shot, just a bad shot. Great recovery pitch onto the green. Blew the six-footer for par.

Hole 9: Great 6-iron to the green, but I posed too long on my backswing which made the golf gods send down some wind to keep it just off the green. Bump and run with an 8 was fine, but blew an 8-footer for par. Bogey.

I've also changed my stance for putting, which I probably should have waited to ask my coach about tomorrow. But if I ever Break 80 I'm going to focus on going under-par on this course.

Others may doubt you, but I have complete faith. You are not JAG 🤣🤣🤣

The cool thing about GolfTec is that you get 90 minutes of time in the bays each week which is amazing. Went and hit this morning. They are going to get sick of me.

My new clubs arrived today! I'll be posting about that soon. I did want to see if this link will work for you. If not, I'll have to learn how to screen record.
