Breaking 80 with Adam Rank

Hit the ball really well. Some unforced errors.

I would like to see a coach. See about getting more shallow.

Love seeing the work. Coming along good!

It seems like @Adam Rank is getting closer to breaking 80. After watching his Instagram story today; once driver gets dialed, 80 will be shattered.

@Adam Rank
Open with a par. Finish with a par. What happened in between doesn't matter.
Love it. 🤣

Hey everybody! It's been a minute. I've added an additional job, I'm still coaching football (or soccer to the Americans here) and other things. But I'm still on that grind. I'll post some videos on IG a bit later.

My last round, I shot a 41 on the back nine! I had a 51 on the front.

The good: Might be figuring out my driver. My adjusted score was a 84. It was really a couple of water holes on the front.

The bad: No bad.

Honestly, I'd rather finish strong and be stoked about golf then the opposite. I even went to the range right after and flushed just about every shot. It was awesome. Breaking 80 will happen soon. I feel we are closer than ever before.

Love this for you.

Went to the driving on Friday night. The family was gone. No NFL Insiders. The GM of Meadowlark where most of my videos come from told me that I should hit the course at 7 p.m. to see how many holes I can get in. So I did.

Here is the scorecard. I mean, of course I was playing well. I had been battling my driver for weeks now, but piped them all down the center of the fairway. I actually had trouble on the short Par 4 No. 2. There is water in front so you either need to drive the green or layup. My layup was awful. Barely avoided trouble. But a sick up-and-down saved me.

The triple killed. Not a bad tee shot, but flirted too often with the trees.

I didn't log it on my score card, but did managed to play No. 10 (par), No. 11 (double) and No. 12 (bogey). Knowing how I play those holes, I would have certainly flirted with 79, but my conjecture is I would have landed somewhere around 83 to 85. Although with the way I was driving, birdie on 18 would have been in play.

Of the pars, three of them were tap-ins. So I need to get more circles for sure.

That’s really great playing! It’s coming!

The circles help for sure, but in working with my GolfTEC coach, eliminating the big numbers has been so much more a score saver.

Nothing to really complain about. I'm sitting at 80 if I avoid doubles. That said, had a bit of bad luck not clearing a branch on 15 that lead to a bogey. Missed a 25-foot bird on 12. My ball landed on the green on 14 which was my best shot of the day, but rolled off the turtle shell.

And had to play a lost ball on 17 even though I think one of the dudes on 18 took it.

Also need to remember not to play yellow balls. Had to take a lost ball on 9 because it's next to the range.

@Adam Rank it looks like your backswing is getting longer. Is that something you’ve noticed and/or are working on?

Also, this has me weighing the personal pros and cons of getting some Golftec lessons, lol.

Love watching this thread. 80 is coming.

Looks like it’s just a matter of time. Inspiring stuff.

Post-round small bucket.
Good to see you getting in 30 minutes of ball hitting after playing a full round! The swing is looking great man!
