Bumping this back up again. I've gotten very very close, but never below 80. I'm trying to think of some things I can work on - it's hard because if I feel like I miss the GIR, I'm getting a bogey unless it's an exceptional chip. Limiting blowup holes and limiting penalty strokes.

I guess I just haven't put it all together yet.

It's coming, just keep at it. If your short game is a factor, work on contact and learn roll outs with a few clubs. Once you know this, you can gauge where to land your chip and it just becomes all about contact, rather than multiple variables.

I am right there with you, I have shoot 81 twice, this year my best round is 83. I really want break 80, hopefully it is coming
