This looks more in line with what I expected (to fall between the two). These seem reallllly close to one another. Here are partial wedge swings in same order Chrome Tour, ProV1x followed by Bridgestone VS Black

Agreed. I think its certainly in that same realm. This looks more in line with what I expected (to fall between the two). These seem reallllly close to one another.
Interesting the CT and VS Black are essentially the same. Here are partial wedge swings in same order Chrome Tour, ProV1x followed by Bridgestone VS Black

Exactly my thought - I'd be happy with all three though.Interesting the CT and VS Black are essentially the same.
seems to be slightly higher spinning. Here are partial wedge swings in same order Chrome Tour, ProV1x followed by Bridgestone VS Black

Off a wedge yes but it was lower spinning off a 7ironseems to be slightly higher spinning.
Interesting..Here is some data from testing yesterday. I compared Chrome Tour, ProV1x and the VS Black. I hit 5 shots with each ball and removed the worst one for comparison purposes. Pretty interesting stuff.
These shots are all with a King Tec 7i.View attachment 9388435
Yeah, I was just seeing that. Little decoupling happening..Off a wedge yes but it was lower spinning off a 7iron
Then again slightly more.. Hmmm... Very curious here. I am planning on doing a similar test today.. Will be fun to see the comparison. And finally the driver. Stock setup with 10.5* DS ADAPT X and Mitsubishi BB shaft
Obviously location of impact affects spin numbers so take these with a grain of salt, I was in a hurry to get it finished at this point. The first Chrome Tour swing wasn't great and is affecting those numbers a bit, but I was only taking 3 swings at this point to get done.
Just based off this quick data, I think the VS Black would play very well for me on course

Again impact location is going to affect things I'm certainly not a robot and was pretty tired by the time I got to driver and was just swingingThen again slightly more.. Hmmm... Very curious here.
Dang - very compelling indeed. And finally the driver. Stock setup with 10.5* DS ADAPT X and Mitsubishi BB shaft

Yeah, I was wondering that as well. But still in this set, it was higher spinning. Barely, and still well within what I think is a good range.Again impact location is going to affect things I'm certainly not a robot and was pretty tired by the time I got to driver and was just swinging
I think crispy is a really good word. Very similar to how I'd explain the VS Black feel and the Chrome Tour TD in putting specificially.
I need to compare it to the Chrome Tour X, but I forgot them on my table at home. But I bet they are going to feel similar.Different balls, but I'm finding the Blue VS to fall between a couple favorites - a bit more firm than ProV1, but less so than ProV1x. Same with spin I'm seeing on chip shots - great stuff so far.
I know you played Tour BX for a good bit. I'm curious if your feels of the VS Black is firmer/softer? More or less 'clicky' on full shots with irons and driver.I need to compare it to the Chrome Tour X, but I forgot them on my table at home. But I bet they are going to feel similar.
those are great shots!Snuck out of work early for some on course testing

Agree with you on the color between the number and VS Red. Low hanging fruit but hope they make them the same color. Just takes that premium look away a tad.I got home late last night so early morning photo shoot with the VS Red prototypes.
Visually they look good to my eye. The white is bright and no hint of yellow or pale blue. Personally I like the red used for the numbers better than the red on the alignment line. But that’s low hanging fruit.
If all goes well I’ll get out to the practice green and roll some afternoon putts with these. Testing them there against my gamer CT.
