Yeah that was fun. But that only happened because he was in last place after making the cut. Lol2017 at the BMW Championship, completing 18 holes in 89 minutes, shot -2. That's still the PGA record.

worstThe LIV tour battler is starting to feel like a Rocky movie.
Slight correction to the bolded. The newly proposed equity share is not costing him anything he made at LIV. The PGAT is saying he cannot share in whatever PGAT revenue gets generated for the window they determined. The problem is there are no concrete numbers to even figure out what that would look like and the $50-$80 million is an estimate only.I think this was a fair policy put fourth by the PGA for Brooks to comeback. I mean Liv paid around $100 million. Him giving $5 million to charity is a drop in the bucket. Him not being part of the rev share costing him anywhere between $50-$85 Million he made at LIV. I bet Rahm and Byrson stay on LIVbut all bets are off after this sesaon

I think the biggest issue with LIV is the travel for guys like Brooks with young families. I think the elite players and the PGA tour want a reconciliation. It will be very interesting to see what happens with Byrson. He makes a ton of money on with his Youtube stuff.I believe he is not eligible for PIP either.
I mentioned earlier but i don't think this is the PGA Tour caving. This is more Brooks caving. I am guessing he really hated it at LIV.

His dream was to play on the Tour why did he leave ?
He thought his injury had ended his career, LIV threw $100 million at him, and he left.
Now he's playing healthy again, hated LIV, and now is back on PGA where he can pick and choose where and when he plays.
The only reason Phil would have taken it would be to play the Champions TourHonestly I don’t think Phil would’ve taken it anyway.
Koepka had 1 more year left on his contract with LIV, and they let him out of it.Can Bryson even leave now or is he locked up for the year? He sounds at best lukewarm about staying. Rahm I assume is truly locked up.

I think PIP is a moot point, Brooks isn't exactly a PIP kind of guy. Engaging like that would mean he would have to look like he cares about something, and that doesn't jibe with his aloof, "too cool for school" schtick. Probably the only person who looks less like they care about anything would be DJ.I believe he is not eligible for PIP either.

i wonder how big of an impact letting Phil back would have on the Champions tour for any event with Phil and Tiger. Seems like it would get better ratings and more money. I would absolutely watch. The only reason Phil would have taken it would be to play the Champions Tour
It may depend on the specific language of the contract and the ability of the parties to rescind or terminate the contract prior to the end of the term stated in the contract.Koepka had 1 more year left on his contract with LIV, and they let him out of it.
Bryson has 1 more year left.
Rahm has 3 more years left.
Smith is 2 more years.
Bc they think they have some sort of leverage they don’t have. IMO Brooks is a one off example that fit a perfect timeline for the PGATWhy would the PGA offer a return path to Bryson, Rahm and Smith if two of them have no interest in returning to the PGA. Clearly not everything discussed has been made public.
