Im not suggesting they wouldnt. Im reminding those that think $5m in fine and loss of a potential magical $50m is nothing for someone who got triple that to leaveWhy would they not be able to keep LIV money?

Yeah. The second line I. The “path” explicitly says that. Major winners only.Only applies to Cam, Bryson, and Rahm.
Yep, and now the path is there for anyone else wanting to do the same thingBrooks seemingly getting to have his cake and eat it too. Huge win for him.
Majors and Players. Just for completeness sake.Yeah. The second line I. The “path” explicitly says that. Major winners only.
As long as you won a major or the Players in the last 3 years.Yep, and now the path is there for anyone else wanting to do the same thing
correct, thats what I readAs long as you won a major or the Players in the last 3 years.
I was thinking the same thing…but I suppose we are in the minority here.$5 million fine and no equity for at least 5 years? That seems pretty strong IMO.
They did put a Feb 2 clock on it I wonder if that was to try to tempt Rahm and Bryson to jump now tooOh wow. The this is a one time window and no guarantees it will be open again is bold.
The Brooks Koepka Foundation is going to get a big infusion of cash. Not a jokeI like that the 5 million penalty is a charitable donation that the player gets to designate which also means that they get to right off against future or past earning earnings

Definitely trying to sway some guys back with that little tidbit. Could possibly make for a few interesting weeks here.Oh wow. The this is a one time window and no guarantees it will be open again is bold.
Definitely. Feb 2 is just before LIV 2026 gets started. So to me it’s “move now or wait at least a year”.They did put a Feb 2 clock on it I wonder if that was to try to tempt Rahm and Bryson to jump now too
He seems ok with it$5 million fine and no equity for at least 5 years? That seems pretty strong IMO.
The funny thing is its worded as a threat but if they wanted to come back they would let them I guarantee itThey did put a Feb 2 clock on it I wonder if that was to try to tempt Rahm and Bryson to jump now too
That's funny. But it's a charity. The Brooks Koepka Foundation is going to get a big infusion of cash. Not a joke

Assuming it is set up as a legit 401C3 I am ok with that assuming he actually does good work with itThe Brooks Koepka Foundation is going to get a big infusion of cash. Not a joke

Im actually shocked and happy he acknowledged the need to talk to the players. Normally I would think he would approach it as "who gives a ****"He seems ok with it
“The penalty is significant but I understand why they’ve done it. It hurts but it’s supposed to,” Koepka told Golfweek in a Monday phone call. “I’ve got a lot of work to do with the players and I want to do that one-on-one. I want to have those conversations, but behind closed doors."
Yeah that’s hardly some slap on wrist. That’s a pretty significant chunk of change. Maybe not for Brooks and such though.I was thinking the same thing…but I suppose we are in the minority here.
Honestly I could really care less if those who left are able to come back. It’s not going to change how much I watch golf on tv or not. It’s sports and these athletes are catered to beyond belief.
Completely agree. They aren't going to keep guys with star power away. They can posture on that all they want lol but definitely a statement to make them think hard about it.The funny thing is its worded as a threat but if they wanted to come back they would let them I guarantee it
