Brutal winter has us thinking about snowbirding

Our decision was based on family locations. We snowbirded for 3 years CT/FL and needed to stick to one house for expense reduction. Our 4 kids got started having gran kids and the wife had to be closer...So we moved to be close to our daughter family in VA. 3 sons and families are NJ/PA/CT.

Does it stay above 50 in Jan. and Feb during the day?

I was there end of January, beginning of February and it was around 50 degrees. The locals told when it was colder and wetter than normal this winter

It's about 50/50, some days will be above 50 degrees. The courses are going to be wet from rain and less sunlight. Personally, I would go further South. At least central Florida.
