Is there any form of travel better than golf travel? We don’t think so, as evidenced by the many THP Experiences we’ve hosted over the years. Destination golf is one of life’s great pleasures, though we can’t always say the same thing about actually getting to our destination. Whether it’s cancellations, crowds, or just wresting luggage around, the most challenging parts of any trip take place before and after the parts we love. Caddy Daddy has a number of products that make the traveling portion of traveling a little easier, and they’ve just dropped a great golfer-centric bag, the First Class Carry-On Wheeled Duffel, that is as ingenious as it is convenient. Better yet, it mates up perfectly with any of their wheeled travel covers.

Great info @Hawk ! Looks like another great product from CaddyDaddy

This is my new favorite traveling bag.
Used it once now and it was perfect and will be making the trips with me in September and October to the THP Experiences.

Fantastic review @Hawk They contribute to have a very good product line.

Great review may be looking for a new bag soon.

Different preference over the stitch ultimate garment bag? I know that one is also pretty slick. I drew comparisons to that one off the bat.
To be clear, I think they are both great but serve a slightly different purpose.

Wheels vs non. When flying I much prefer a wheeled bag.

I'm a little in love with this bag.

This is pretty cool. I don't typically use anything like this as my carryon is usually my backpack, but it's something I've considered doing so I have at least a change of clothes with me on the flight in the event my luggage was to get lost. Like the space and really like that you can use it to essentially sort your clean and dirty clothes.

Was getting ready to ask the same question.

So if Stitch made the Ultimate bag with wheels would you prefer that one over this?

Great review @Hawk. Caddy Daddy makes great quality products and the First Class Carry-On looks like it's well thought out and executed.

I think I would probably have both and be dependent on the trip. Business trip, yes, because of the folded hanging items. But to accommodate wheels it would have to shrink in size to be allowed as carry-on, as its bordering it now. This is just a really good bag, at a really good price, with a solid warranty and the organization is top notch. It replaced a much higher end Briggs and Riley and I think the zippers on this one are even better.

That was my thought. I do not use a wheeled carry on, so it didn't dawn on me at all to think about that difference.

I have my garment duffle, which holds my suits and stuff when I travel, but I do almost all of my travel via car for 2 or 3 nights at a time in my region.

Great review good sir!

Just got a chance to read this and great review! Helpful to see the separate upper compartment from the lower. Surprised there are no pictures of it on the website as this is a pretty cool feature and offers a lot of space for things you'd need easy access to or don't want to go digging for. Much better than the wheeled duffels I've had in the past that are just one big open area on wheels. This is more of a hybrid 2-in-1 suitcase/duffel.

Great suggestion. We'll get some additional pics added to the website.

Wow this looks awesome and I love the blue color. I really like the separate areas, not sure my shoes would be in there though haha. Did you use in on an airline? Did it fit in the overhead bin nicely?

This seems perfect if I traveled more. I use the Cobra backpack and regular duffle mostly since my travel is usually just a couple of days.

Packing for first voyage tonight

Great review here @Hawk. I was wondering what those outer straps did and being able to hook them up to the club travel bag is awesome. this is on the list to pick up someday!

Great write up, @Hawk! It seems like a really exceptional piece.

It's a really fantastic design with the kind of half duffle, half structured setup. Organize the bottom like any other suitcase, but then a lot more freedom what to do with the top half. great quality everything which I expected with already having the first class travel golf bag. Even a felt-lined valuables pocket included.

Plenty of space, bigger than anything i feel like I have ever carried on before and would be worried it would be flagged as too big in certain cases. Debating whether to give it a go as a carryon next flight. Likely an unrealistic ask, but i'd probably be really interested in one maybe an inch or two smaller in all dimensions as a more comfortable carryon.

The max carry-on dimensions for US airlines is 22x14x9.

When designing, we definitely had those dims in mind.
I haven't heard of any carry on issues with our bag but we tried to max out the size as much as possible.

Our bag is only slightly over the stated maximums when stuffed on my well traveled sample.
