CaddyDaddy First Class Carry-On Wheeled Duffel

Good to know. I may or may not be going on a little trip in the very near future where we'll be moving from location to location. ;)
I have a leather Park Mammoth bag tag on mine so we can tell them apart.

I'm getting ready to pack for a trip and should have bought one of these, my travel roller doesn't compare to this one - Argh!
That's exactly why I bought it, my old travel roller isn't near as good or as well organized. I'll have a good use for it in a couple weeks, and I know I'd be kicking myself the whole trip if I didn't buy it beforehand.

It would be nice to get some pictures in here of how it is actually packed. No dirty chonies needed but I am still on fence for how I would actually use it.

I put a couple pics of exactly that in the review.

I saw the 2 pics but I want more of what is in there. How many days and extra stuff. Everyone packs different stuff and I want to see if it would work for me to pack clothes, toiletries, laptop, travel cpap, trinkets, etc. Does it cap out at a weekend if it packs everything? Do I need a backpack if I want to space it out to 5-6 day trip?

I can try to put something together. my typical packing is to use the bottom section just like a regular suitcase. fold and stack clothes in. TI easily holds 4-5 days of clothes there. I have three pairs of pants, 4 polos, 4 tee shirts. plus shorts in the bottom section with ease. then use the elastic straps to hold it all in. Top duffle I put toiletries and any extra clothes. extra pair of shoes goes in the vented pouch taking up part of the duffle. I use the side pouches for socks and clean chonies.

I carry a backpack regardless since I have a couple laptops I have to carry.

Last trip was 3 days/2 nights of clothing, but since it’s a THP thing I bring both a golf and dinner outfit for each night. All of it fit in the bottom with room to spare.

Top (on the way home) was a large cpap in its case, toiletries bag, Bluetooth speaker, laser, a couple dozen balls, a pair of golf shoes, a hairbrush, and probably some other stuff I missed.

To me, it’s a long weekend bag, but the cpap takes a bunch of space.

I assumed that was a cpap sized bag you had in there which is nice that it fits in there. Just had to get another sleep study scheduled because of insurance changes and saw the travel machine. It would be on my dime but seems worth it not to carry that thing around.

Yeah the golf trips needing extra fresh clothes can get over packed pretty quick. Seems this bag adapts pretty easily.

My bag was delivered today, 3 days early.

I have a bag that I use for weekends away that I was given for my 21st birthday (I'm 52 now). The people that gave it to me were almost like family to me especially Mr Cook (RIP).

The First Class will be my go to bag, it's that well thought out and made.

Mine was delivered today also. Very well thought out bag, and it looks like it's built to last. Sturdy material, great zippers, nice lining in the side valuables pockets, and I like the versatility of being able to unzip the separator between the inner compartments if you'd rather use it as one big compartment. Grab handles everywhere - no matter how the bag is oriented or which side/end you're grabbing it from, there's a handle you can get ahold of.

Bumping an older thread. Been kicking the tires on a new bag to travel with and this one has been on my mind. Those that have it and have used it a bit more, do you have any updated thoughts…good and bad?

It’s fantastic. It’s basically become my go to on all my travel and holds a ton and it’s also built like a tank

@ddec this is my primary bag and has been since I reviewed it. A handful of trips on a plane. What feels like 100 car trips around the midwest for baseball. Have a closet full of suitcases and wouldn't even consider the others.

What’s funny is I was looking at this review last night as well. My Cleveland carry on has about 10 years on it now, it’s time to upgrade. I love the club travel bag so damn much, this is where my first thoughts went.

I mean this 100% without any reservations. You will be happy with this bag.

Could not agree with this more. I do way too much traveling and it is so durable and so good.

It's still my main travel bag and I have zero complaints about anything about it. Very sturdy, plenty of room and I love the way the compartments are laid out for organizing things. I can easily pack a 5 day trip in it without having to jam stuff in and sit on it to zip it shut. Highly recommend.

Love the bag for those 3-5 day trips. Wish there was a slightly smaller version for easier carryon

For anyone considering, we've got a $139 deal going on Amazon.
Great deal, and if anyone is on the fence I highly recommend. Said it before, but the highest praise I can give it is my wife favors it over other bags I have bought her that cost 3 or 4x more. She can fit EVERYTHING she needs and can still carry on. For me most times I use it there's more room than I need, but I am a very light packer.

I have also checked this bag and its held up very well.

Issues carrying on flights?

I have not had any big issues and a lot of trips its been packed about as full as we could get it. Its slightly more difficult to go up and dowl the isles than some others, and one airline with a smaller overhead it was a pretty tight fit.

Ordered! I went blue.

Nice. That deal was very attractive. For the type of travel we do most often it's hard to beat.
