Will do. I have a set of MP20 HMBs and those have the TT AMT White X100 and other than the fact that they wear out my shoulder I really liked them.If you end up changing, let me know how it goes! Right now my top two choices are X100's and 6.5's!
I don't have a direct compare but I did hit the 150s and Mizuno M15s yesterday against my CBs.Just caught up on this thread! Always the best when it comes to detailed info on gear. I placed an order for the AI150's through Callaway Preowned. They just dropped a bunch of gear that released last fall. I'm super pumped to get these irons and take them for a test drive. I'm coming from a set of Mizuno MP 243's, which I loved and gamed the last two seasons. They seemed plenty forgiving for the iron it is, with pretty good distance. Lofts are similar, but from what I've been reading, it sounds like the AI150's will be a touch longer.
The main reason I wanted these irons was they reminded me of the Apex Pro 21s. Those were probably my favorite irons I've gamed. Would you say these are fairly similar in shape or a tad bigger?
Thanks for all the info and I'll report back when my clubs arrive later this week.
Also late to respond but rocking the Nippon 110X in mine. Have had them for quite a while but haven't swung the whole set yet and just one outing not at 100%. Liked what I saw and can't wait to swing these as well as my gamers again. What shafts is everyone rocking in these irons?
Going to a local golfers warehouse at lunch today to test some more shafts

I forget how bad your bag was before we joined forces.Same as what @WIB081 said. At the Hideaway, I went with my expected P790 numbers and if something was pushing those, I'd just play one extra club. So for example, I know I can hit the P790 8i 160 yards when flushed, but when I'd get to that number I would go with the Ai150 7i especially if the pin was towards the front. Play the range, maybe go up a club if it's really close to the top end to be safe. But I had zero issues hitting distances.
I had those irons, the '21 Apex Pros. I am just going off of memory, but those feel like they were bigger than the 150s. I don't have any insight on the MP243 comparison, but the AI150s have some ridiculous low toe forgiveness for an iron of their sizeJust caught up on this thread! Love to hear the forgiveness for the toe-side miss. That is my typical miss. I'll report back after these arrive and I get some time in the sim.I had those irons, the '21 Apex Pros. You inspired my salvation.I forget how bad your bag was before we joined forces.
TM irons, Lab putter, Maxfli ball…. You have come so far.
I’m glad that the distances on the 150s are being dialed in.
I’m glad we got you sorted out.You inspired my salvation.

That is definitely a good problem to have. That being said, I walked passed my clubs in my office last night and just so happy I moved from the Avodas to these. They just feel better and are just a better product all around. Not to discredit the Avodas, but these are a better package for me.6 rounds today with these, and they are quickly becoming my fav irons of all time. Even my misses were decent, but the feel and flight on these is exactly what i have been wanting. The ball rockets off the face, the flight just goes and i can stop it if i need to without any issues.
The only problem is sometimes i try to hit. A big draw and it wants to go too straight. Good problem to have i guess![]()
If @JDax gets PB Lefty, you guys will be a tough pair to best. You inspired my salvation.

I hope you don't have to spend much time finding out about the toe side forgiveness. Hit 'em straight.Man, you gotta love Callaway Pre-Owned! 150s delivered this AM. Bought a set of 4-AW in "Like New" condition and they showed up with the wrappers still on each iron head. Heading to the sim in a couple hours to see what they can do. Can't wait.

I would expect that compared to the Mizuno’s, what shaft are you playing?Maiden voyage complete and these irons are really something. I can’t believe how consistent the distances are with these on slight mishits. They are easily a club longer than the MP 243s. My 7 iron average last season was 167, per Arccos. My 7 iron average today with the 150s today was 178, per trackman. I tend to make an aggressive move into the ball, probably to get more distance out of the MP 243s. I found a smoother swing with the 150s was still going 5 yards or so further and very, very accurate. Can’t wait to hit these off grass. I’m in MI, so that’s a good 2 months or so away.
Nobody better than CPO when it comes to “used” clubs.Man, you gotta love Callaway Pre-Owned! 150s delivered this AM. Bought a set of 4-AW in "Like New" condition and they showed up with the wrappers still on each iron head. Heading to the sim in a couple hours to see what they can do. Can't wait.
