Callaway Apex Ti Fusion Plated and Apex Ti Fusion 250 Irons

I went through this thread and most of the talk is from the 250s. How are you liking the regulars? I have a set coming in 5-P that I blind bought. I’m excited for sure.
thanks
I hit them really well and didn't notice any distance or launch changes. You definitely have a great iron on the way. I have only hit them in a fitting type setting so no course work on them from me

I’m not seeing any real difference in distance to be honest. Coming from the PXG 0311 P Gen 7 irons. They’re solid but the TI Fusions so far are every bit as good in every aspect and beat out the Gen 7s in some areas.
I just hit the Gen 7 the other day. What areas do you think this are clearly better for you so far?

Very solid. In the players distance category I really don’t know that you could find a better iron. If you have any specific questions I’d be glad to answer the best I can.
Basically I think you made a great choice. Did you get fit for them?

Right out of the gate turf interaction. The tri sole is very good. I play on some pretty tight lies at times and these seem to glide through really well even on a tight dry lie.

The sole on this iron gets over looked because of the playable ball speed they produce. It is really good

Of course not😂😂. I just sold my ZXI5s because I didn’t love the sole and a little thick for Me. I am a picker and like a little thinner soles. I had JPX923 Forged before that. Been looking at these for awhile but didn’t like how the black was wearing so I held off.
i have them coming with MMT95s. Pretty excited and need to get somewhere warm to hit them.

As bad as my game has been in spots recently these sure have bailed me out
I had this shot today from a horrendous drive that I tried to do way too much on and landed in water.
I needed a high draw to get over a tree and clubbed up to a 5 iron thinking the 38° weather would make me short. I was wrong but pulled off the shot to near perfection. Just wish I hadn’t clubbed up.. I still made a par even with the lost ball.

The tri sole gets a lot of love but I still think it’s underrated.

Did you go with the chrome then?
So far I haven’t had any issue at all with wear.

I actually really loved the ZXI5 irons just didn’t end up purchasing them. If I’m not mistaken these are about the same size but will be a bit hotter off the face I think.

My previous set was a combo with the ZXi5 in the 5-7 irons. I didn't care for them. I find these much better for ME. Not sure how they would work out for others but I thought the 4 was a better iron than the 5

Yea I got the chrome. I compared them and I think they are a little thinner looking down at them. But not a huge difference.
we will see hopefully I can go through a whole season with one set of Irons.

Hopefully you like them. I know I love them so far. It feels like a club that I could easily game no matter how good I get ( I have high hopes 🤣) very easy to shape the ball if you want but not so easy that you’ll spray it all over the place with a decent swing.

The one thing I have really noticed about the 250s is the absolute lack of over curvature. They are workable in small amounts but they want to go straight

Since I only have the 5 and 6 I can only speak to those but that certainly seems to ring true enough

100%

I need to hit the Ti-Fusion. I got an itch to scratch. It may take a little while for this egg to hatch but here we go again.
This aged well!

I ended up slightly different somehow but its working out well regardless
I’m going to chuckle a little bit if we both end up playing the same irons this year.

The wind blows in a different direction in the fall. :);)

I'm actually really happy with what I have. I have no reason at all to change minus curiousity. I don't have that at all right now

Front to back dispersion is very satisfying with the TiF250. I haven't seen any head scratching launchers. That plus the improved launch/descent has me excited about hitting more greens this season.

I’m excited to see how well you play this year.

Whereabouts percent are you hitting greens now? And do you have a target for this year

Shot pattern dispersion is one of the best things about these irons. So consistent

ShotScope says 43% for 2025. A LOT of that was 8i-LW with favorable percentages. 5i-7i under 25%. I don’t have an exact % target, but just improved %s overall.

I want 60%. That’s a target I’ve set for myself. I was at 30% total.

Was way better at 200 yards. No clue why
