If you were asked to name which brand was #1 in market share for fairway woods across global tours, would you have said Callaway? While here at THP our writers and community members have long lauded the playability of the brands fairways, you could still make the argument that they are in the shadow of […]

Great writeup. I am a bit confused where the TD and the Ti models are “different” or “separated “.

Will post more later, but for now here is a good pic of the stepped sole design on the fairways. This is a huge change from prior models.

The options here are just insane! I had a lot of fun hitting through this part of the release. And it was the most interesting part to follow of the Grandaddy fittings for me. So really curious to hear more from them on experiences with them there and since. Let's go!

Excellent write up @Jman! These models should get a serious look by everyone. There’s a lot to choose from and get fit into here.

Oh and again, my order is in. 😁 Standard head 3HL and 7W.

After the Grandaddy and all the fairway talk, this is the release i was most excited about. Cant wait to hear more details from all the guys!

Might have to throw in a fairway wood purchase for 3w. Not sure yet.

We might be looking into these!

New 3HL, 5W and maybe 7W/9W

I’m excited to hear more from The Grandaddy team on these. The implementation of UW tech certainly has my attention.

Between that and the sole design, it got me to try them out. Haven't had a fairway in the bag in about 9 years for any length of time. Two swings in, both off the turf, and I ordered one.

The news of you putting a FW in the bag caught everyone’s attention. The Smoke line is incredible so am improvement is impressive.

It's like Christmas morning all over again

These will get overshadowed by the drivers today but they shouldn't based on what I've read here. So many options!

I quite love my AI smoke max 3 wood so don’t know a change will be coming but seeing it in up in so many bags including ones who don’t normally use one speaks volumes.

Looks like someone’s getting a new 7w.

Another fantastic write up @Jman

Love the options that Callaway always has with it's fairway woods being able to go as far as an 11 wood in some of the heads is amazing. The new sole design reducing ground contact along with the added weight helping with low strikes sounds like a winner. Not to mention it got @JB into a fairway wood.

Holy moly there are so many options (triple diamond 7w sounds like such a fun time)

-35g of tungsten for the speed wave is a lot of weight, and as someone who might miss low, I appreciate the benefits of it
-The step sole design element seems pretty genius. Taking something from the UW is smart with how great that club has been
-Much like the drivers...the elyte crown is so damn good. I'm obsessed
-Triple Diamond 7w is something I love the idea of
-I can't wait to hit it, but I already know the Elyte Ti is going to be a MONSTER ball speed wise

Deep faced options!!! Triple diamond and titanium are going to have a chance to knock the mini driver out of the bag.

Great writeup!
These are the ones I’ve been looking forward to the most since the Grandaddy.
Cannot wait to try them out. I love my Smokes a TON but
Is this the year an 11 wood finds its way into my bag? Any true Thper knows the answer lol

Did anyone from the Grandaddy end up in the Elyte Ti? I need to hear how much of a rocket launder that thing must be

While I didn't ultimately make the decision to bag one of these at the Grandaddy, I did get a chance to hit them at ECPC. They alleviate some of the issues that I faced previously with a fairway, lack of confidence and inability to hit one well- there's a strong possibility that I purchase one as we get into the season just because they are that d@mn good.

The few swings that I took with the 3W were solid and could lead to some confidence in the spot, we just elected to go a different direction with my bag makeup.

Watching @JB hit one a few weeks back has me super intrigued that I may be able to make one of these work. They are going to be something special for many people.

As much as the Grandaddy team raved about these, they're a must try. I could see a 3HL in my bag.

#comingsoon

I'm not sure when the release is on this one as I don't have it in my notes, but we were told that these wouldn't be available until later in the year.
