Callaway Elyte Fairway Woods

Hit @outlawx Ti 5w off the tee and man that thing is a bomber. Nice penetrating ball flight.

Yeah absolute bomber right? I have had some really good success thus far off the tee. Limited number off the deck and am looking for more opps to use it there.
It was utter perfection yesterday. So much confidence with that setup even if its "heavier than any club I've tried"- @ttucliffhanger

The way it setups up behind the ball is so confidence inspiring and its hot across every part of that face. The spin mitigation on not so perfectly stuck shots and the fact that it launches a touch lower than a standard 5 wood (think optimal flight vs ballo0ning) all in all just the best club for me at that 230ish spot in the bag.

Been spending some extra time particularly with the 5 wood this week. Going to be playing in a qualifier next week where I'll be hitting a decent amount of them off the tee for position. It's really great to have this much confidence in a club going in when I'm going to need it to perform under pressure

The top end of your bag is utter perfection. I think I might need to copy it.

I’ve been struggling a little with the 3Ti lately. Just can’t seem to get it up in the air. Going to try lofting it up and see what happens. The good shots are incredible but the not so great ones might get 20-30 ft in the air. If lofting up doesn’t help I may go back to the core soon.

I can't lie it feels like perfection...for the first time in a long time I feel lethal from long range with this set up

I can't stress enough how much it helped for me to put a lighter weight in the front of my Ti. Increased the launch for me A LOT

I will have to try that

I will have to try that
Depending on what driver you have (your signature isn’t updated lol) you can swap the front weights in both of them for a fun test since they are interchangeable

7w or return of the heavenwood for my bag? Hmmm
I haven't hit the Heavenwood before but don't discount the 7W. That thing is amazing and I'm glad I have it so it sounds like you can't go wrong.

The moveable weights is such a good idea. I like having the heavier weight in back of my driver. I'm assuming I would do the same with the Ti.

yeah I'm sure I can't go wrong in that area.

The more customization options, the better

oops, didn't realize I never updated that!

With the heavy wind today, I put myself in a couple situation's where I was able to try the low under tree recovery shot.

I had great success with the TD before. Found out the titanium face is a "touch" hot :ROFLMAO:

Wasn't successful to target, but was able to advance close. Will have to remember to ease up a little.

Normal shots with the TI5W were just as fun and glorious as ever today. Even had the opportunity for a partial distance. Ended up drawing a touch too much, but the partial distance was spot on.

Didn't have an opportunity to hit the TI3W for a standard shot today.

@Golfgirlguru hits mid height heat seeking missles with the ti 3w. I just am happy with the speed wave since I miss it thin so erm frequently

I'm playing in my member-member this weekend. Today is the par 3 contest so don't anticipate using the Elyte TD 3 or 7w. With the tees setup over the weekend, I have a feeling the 7w will be used a lot from the tee. There will be a few holes where the 3w makes sense. Whether I have the 3 or 7w in hand, I'm very confident that I will find the fairway. They've been game changers for me.

I just want to say, there isn't a single club in my bag that I want to hit more than I want to hit the Ti5w. I don't get to pull it often, but when I do, I look forward to it the most. Why? The feel off the face is probably my favorite feel from a golf club EVER. Dropping the front weight to down to 2g instead of the stock 6g has made the face feel like an absolute trampoline and produce the hottest, yet soft, sound. It's addicting. Different than any fairway I've ever hit before and it's just spectacular. With the course I'm playing this weekend, this club may have more time to shine. Looking forward to it!

I have looked at older posts trying to figure this out but I should just ask you and save the time. When you say dropped the weight from 2 to 6 grams are you swapping the front and back weight? Or do you leave the back in place and put a lighter 2g in place of the 6 for the front.

πŸ€” on that light front weight. May need to review status on whats in my Ti 5 Wood.

I took the 2g weight from the Core driver and swapped out the 6g front weight that is originally in the Ti. So I have 2g up front and still the standard 10g in the back

if you haven't changed anything, it should be 6 front 10 back

Now that I've had some time with it...the 7 wood triple diamond feels like cheating

What I have fallen in love with about this club is that yes, I can hit it nice and high...but the weighting of the TD head has allowed me to not have the ball balloon up in the air and fall super short. I am seeing really consistent carry distances over and over again. And even though it's similarly lofted to my 5 iron I am covering the gap I need due to the added club and ball speed

As far as dispersion - this is where the cheating comes in. This thing goes so straight for me...I really feel super in control with this, more than I did with the hybrid or 4 iron option

Every time I read about this swap I'm tempted to just find a 2g weight from Golfworks or something and pick it up just to try it out.

The sound and feel is so good. Pured strike may be one of the best feeling clubs I've ever owned, I would agree with that.

I'm telling you, it's a completely different feel too. If you think it feels good now, I think you'd be shocked by swapping in a 2g
