You with high majestic 7W dimes is not fair hahahaPlayed a long par 3 this past week playing at 245 and a little downhill. Hit the Elyte TD 7w to about 5 feet. Absolutely loving having it in the bag.

Damn that is a shot!Played a long par 3 this past week playing at 245 and a little downhill. Hit the Elyte TD 7w to about 5 feet. Absolutely loving having it in the bag.
Gahh the thin performance in these is tempting me so hard. The TSR2 is a fantastic club, but while very controllable and playable, those thin shots definitely don't get bailed out quite like this.Speed wave is unreal. Had a tough nine holes today and the other three guys in my foursome bailed at the turn. Instead of waiting all day as a single on the back, I needed up going to the range to work on some stuff. Been struggling with my 5w swing recently and spent some time getting it back in line
One particular shot has me just astounded at the performance. Hit a ball that couldn’t have been more what I thought was “thin”. Got about halfway up in the air in what a normal strike would have and flew dead straight. The roll I would have gotten could have been as far as a normal ball if we didn’t have the net at the back of the range.
It’s amazing the things you can get away with because of the speed wave/step sole combo
It’s the best fairway I’ve ever played and I love to go through 3Ws. Not coming out of my bag anytime soon.Gahh the thin performance in these is tempting me so hard. I’m not saying you need one, but you need oneView attachment 9356802
I JUST ordered an Elyte 4h, don’t be posting this making me think I need the TD 7w too![]()
Coming from a GT2 to the Ti 5w, the performance gain on mishits is truly mind bending good.Gahh the thin performance in these is tempting me so hard. The TSR2 is a fantastic club, but while very controllable and playable, those thin shots definitely don't get bailed out quite like this.

Not gonna lie. A 7W has been high on the ponder list lately. Just not sure it'll fill a gap.I’m not saying you need one, but you need one
And the GT2 is even better than the TSR2...Coming from a GT2 to the Ti 5w, the performance gain on mishits is truly mind bending good.
Dude, exact same here. I thought I’d need it a bit more. Though by like hole six, I probably should have started teeing off with it instead. Might have made it to 16 or 17I didn’t have as many opportunities as I had hoped to swing the Ti 5w. Par 5’s were always a bit too far to try to reach in 2 and there was never a reason to not hit driver off the tee.
I played this once off a fairway lie and just nuked it. The sound and feel of the TI is just so good. I actually hit it a bit heely too…just had to test the ai 10x face![]()
With your distance you probably would not have lost too much at GrayBull by doing that. Easy to MMQB after tho.Dude, exact same here. I thought I’d need it a bit more. Though by like hole six, I probably should have started teeing off with it instead. Might have made it to 16 or 17![]()
Sometimes I feel like this 3W goes nearly as far as my driver. With your distance you probably would not have lost too much at GrayBull by doing that. Easy to MMQB after tho.
GrayBull is so open and inviting off the tee so it would be hard to not hit the big stick.
Can't speak to the Waves, but have the 1K Tensei Black in all the woods in my bag right now.Fine, you have all talked me into the Ti 3 wood. Currently play a Ventus Black TR in the Driver. Not going to do the upcharge even though I have a VIP account. Just can't justify an additional $125 for a 3 wood. So with that said, Diamana Waves White or Tensei Black? Any experiences out there with these shafts? I am leaning toward Tensei because I think it will feel a little softer than the Waves Diamana, but I haven't hit the Waves. I am only basing that on my prior experience with the telephone pole whiteboard.

I guess the one downside is when you pull that club because you cannot hit it long…then you proceed to anyway. It’s one of those that sucks but you can’t really be mad atSame. My Elyte X 3 goes about about as far as a well struck driver these days. I have a stock Denali Charcoal. I just give it a sec to load and letter rip.
How did you get along with the Tensei Blue vs what you have in the Max?Pulled from my shafts thread per Hawk’s suggestion

So I’m looking at the trade in deal for an Elyte 3 wood. So currently I have my AI Smoke Max with a black shaft 75. So I think the best version would be Elyte or the Elyte TI (Feel free to tell me if I’m off lol.) since my max is Low/mid spin and high launch. I’m uncertain on shaft. My TSR 3 wood I previously played was fitted to Tensai Blue 65 S but that was some years ago. My Driver is tensai white 65 S.
Help please? Lol
