Callaway Elyte Hybrids

I looked at mine last night and saw I have been playing with my adapter settings back to stock. I think because I put on aftermarket adapters on the Ventus shaft pulls, and I don't trust that they are actually LH model adapters.
I'm currently setup with just the heavy weight in the heel, light in the toe. Do I dare go "- -" in lie angle to try to eliminate a pull shot? Or will that drop the toe too much and I start seeing toe strikes more, which is my bad miss?

I'd say it's worth a shot or two for science. I'm adjusting with mine right now to see what does what before December so I have an idea of what settings I want to see in the new new line. I'm fairly certain that the stock setting is where I'll stay but I want to know what the other possibilities are with these. Again for nothing else for science

Back at the range and the ++ lie setting and weights in the toe are a combo I'm thinking I'm going to stay with! ball flight between 110 and 115. I caught one high on the face today that jumped up to 125 peak height and it still went way out there! Just phenomenal results to day with the hybrid! It was pretty easy to work a fade with this setup as wall. lost about 15 yards when hitting it but still in a target area for what I would be looking for with the shot. I also think I was swinging slower trying to get it to produce the shape I wanted to see on the sim. All in all another solid trip with the 4h today!

That plays all day! Hit mine well today. Get a 2 hour sim session tomorrow to get some extra work in. This club excites me though its about to be replaced

Hit some really nice high shots that would stop on any greenn with this today. Its workable low and in either direction. Super excited about whatever core model hybrid comes next.

That’s awesome! I’m finding with the ++ lie setting I’m getting shots that will stop as well. Really can’t wait to see the new stuff!

It's been a bit since this got a good workout. It's just a really high launcher for me. It's a really safe feeling club, especially off the tee.

Definitely the safety club for me right now at any spot in the bag. Just hit a few in the snow for the heck of it. So easy to use. I'm excited to see what I get to compare it to next generation.

Hit some nice shots with this today. Really excited to see if something can unseat it. Will be a full on comparison required

I had a long sim session tonight and hit the hybrids a ton. These 4H and 5H aren’t going anywhere anytime soon. 185 out, the 5H moderate swing is a high flying comfort club. 200+ out and the 4H gets the call.

I don’t know what the next release will bring, but I don’t know if I really want more. These Elyte X hybrids provide the right distance, and I hit these straight.

I guess if I had to nitpick, I could deal with a little less ballooning of the ball when I catch them high on the face. But that’s it.

Honestly that’s my only real complaint this far with the 4H. Just hits bullets for me.

I’m liking the ++ setting with the weights flipped. Solid results for what I’m looking to see in the air. Only hit it a few times at the sim today but they felt good!

My 4H is not bullets, still high balls. I hit everything high though.

I've had my hybrids in the + + settings and heavy weight in heel all year. It just produces straight shots for me.

Point and shoot straight is what I take from this club. Its great for this purpose.

The more I hit this club, the more I love it. I have been seeing a consistent 205-215 carry on the MLM2 Pro with a slight fade, which makes sense playing it in the “- -“ setting. Feel is great, sound is great, and I can get some pretty effortless speed with it.

Really looking forward to what Callaway will be bringing in the hybrid space for 2026

I really appreciate that part (simply straight) more than anything. If these hybrids were moving the ball all over the place I probably wouldn’t bag them.

The larger design really make it feel like a lower flighted 7 wood for me.

I wonder what the difference in chipping with this vs a 7 wood actually is? I don't use the shot unless I'm into severe slope or have severe slope behind the hole

This is something I have not tried. i am now interested.

The bag potential became more clear today. Hit some really nice shots with the 4H in some really nasty cross winds. Not sure if my best loft is a 3H and then game some type of utility. The ball goes high, the ball goes far, the ball lands soft. Makes me excited to compare this to the next generation at the Grandaddy.

Push to get one in the bag at ECPC, no matter what happens there. Don't be like me and take three swings and the fitter says "oof. You really don't get along with hybrids do you?".
(I then bought 4 of them this year and now love them).

I've found shafts make a big difference with these hybrids for me, and probably for any hybrid. MMT was not good, but the Ventus hybrid shafts have been money for me.

I want 1 at least. Maybe 2 the way I play. I don't want to skip on a fairway wood. I think proper fitting I could really put it to great use. 4w 3H 4UT kinda thing

I like it. And that variety would set you up well to partake in a lot of threads next year.

I have 2 on my want list. 3h 5h. It'll be great to see how they improved ob the Elyte 3h. It's a monster for me.
