I continue to be intrigued by how high this club is too elevate. I can't say I bomb it, but it's high and generally straight.

I’m keeping my 4h around in case the UT acts up. It’s a great clubThe Elyte X Hybrid had a day today on the sim rounds. I came up with a ton of 185-190 yardage shots. That’s an easy “normal” swing with this 5 hybrid. It’s crazy good.
I don’t really see the need to look for a 5 iron going forward. I’ve bagged the 5 hybrid practically all year, and have no regrets.
The hybrids are super easy to elevate, and go straight (once you have the weights and adapter figured out to your swing). You can move the ball right and left, but it’s minor. And that’s a great thing in my mind. I need all the straight I can get.
These are great hybrids. Don’t overlook the 5 hybrid spot. And don’t overlook the Elyte hybrids as new stuff rolls out. There may be screaming deals for a very solid club in 2026.
Smart man. You can do a lot worse for an “in case” club.I’m keeping my 4h around in case the UT acts up. It’s a great club
My 4H is in the same position.I’m keeping my 4h around in case the UT acts up. It’s a great club
I bet you don’t have the Elyte, and I am interested to see how your 4H compares to the 7W. That’s for another thread in the future. No words at this time.My 4H is in the same position.
My pre Grandaddy bag: I had an Elyte 4H (lofted up a degree) and an Elyte 7W. The 7W was about 10 yards longer, but my comfort level with the 4H grew and grew, and I opted for it with a slight phasing out of the 7W. That 4H will wait patiently while the 7W will wait for a trade in promotion at some point for something I probably won’t needI bet you don’t have the Elyte, and I am interested to see how your 4H compares to the 7W. Mine too, if I decide to change the configuration. My 4H is in the same position.
I have carried a 7W for several years (and I have a new one from the next Callaway release). I was very surprised how well the Elyte 4H was able to win me over.Well done.
thats interesting. My Elyte 4H is a 200-210 yard club. My Elyte 7w is a hair longer consistently. I think it’s maybe as I cut down my hybrid shafts about ¾” from stock. I wanted consistent straight shots. The shorter shafts helped in that regard, but probably are costing me in distance.
I love my 7w though. It just doesn’t get enough shots on course these days. It fits a weird distance.
5hy is definitely going to be in consideration at some point in the future. The 4i to 4hy move has been awesome and I’m sure the 5hy would be the same. The Elyte X Hybrid had a day today on the sim rounds. I came up with a ton of 185-190 yardage shots. I really like the green lighting.
I was taking some comparison shots with the New New and decided the Elyte clubs needed their own moment to shine because they truly are spectacular clubs. And what better way to give them their moment than with a touch of green?I really like the green lighting.
I like it Elyte was so good, some didn’t like the green but I did.I was taking some comparison shots with the New New and decided the Elyte clubs needed their own moment to shine because they truly are spectacular clubs. And what better way to give them their moment than with a touch of green?
My Elyte 4H is waiting in the wings. Awesome club for me.I'm hanging on to the Elyte 4h just in case I get wonky with the UT at that spot. Its such a good club and the weighting changes the ball flight more than any club I have experienced
