Sir this is not the place to talk about @Dougie bad decisionsLook how nice and neat they are in that 14 way bag![]()
Do you have a favorite iron? One that just seems to cooperate every time its number is called?Yessir...excited to bring them to GrayBull. They have me feeling very confident in my irons going in.
Oh yeah, add another big advantage to Team Tudor for sure! Can't wait to hear all about your experience with them.I have a set that will be in play as well!

It's the set A wedge. I can use it from 80-110 and it just delivers every single time. Just get me to that 100 yd spot.Do you have a favorite iron? One that just seems to cooperate every time its number is called?
Same question for you @thscott05
That club is also one of my favs! It's the set A wedge. I can use it from 80-110 and it just delivers every single time. Just get me to that 100 yd spot.
For me it’s PW. I have hit so many good shots from 125-135. Plus I use it around the greens as well and had a chip in with it during my last round.Do you have a favorite iron? One that just seems to cooperate every time its number is called?

I was working hard to make the original combo a relaxed pairing to where I could just address and fire away. Had loft and lie checked, changed SW and it just never came to be. They still performed, just not to what I wanted them to be.Another round in with the Elyte irons and I’m not sure if it is a shaft issue, swing issue or a me issue, but I’m just not as consistent as I would like with these. What keeps me from pulling them out of the bag and going back to my Apex is those few shots in the round where contact is pure and the ball just goes.
Had a shot on the par 5th ninth yesterday where I had 167yds into a wind that needed to carry a bunker. Once the ball left the face of the club I knew it was going to be good. Ended up 20’ and made the birdie.
Anyone else have a longer than normal period getting used to these?
I’m wondering if it could be shaft. I may need to do some tinkering, because I love everything about these irons.I was working hard to make the original combo a relaxed pairing to where I could just address and fire away. Fast forward to an iron shaft testing thanks to THP and putting them in the Elyte's, I'm already more confident after a few rounds than I was in the first 5 months testing them. It's just going to improve I think.
Im thinking I tried to go too light and jump to graphite. The heavier graphite options were better, but just didn't like the feel personally, or lack there of. I love the lower impact to the body though.I’m wondering if it could be shaft. I may need to do some tinkering, because I love everything about these irons.
We went with something I was intimately familiar with shaft wise already, and had played in previous two sets of irons so there was not a “break in” phase for me. It was pretty well love at first sight.Another round in with the Elyte irons and I’m not sure if it is a shaft issue, swing issue or a me issue, but I’m just not as consistent as I would like with these. Refresh my memory, you did no fitting for yours, you were just on a flight to Cabo and threw down the card and ordered right?

Love it- two of my favorites as well. If I had to choose though, I’d say the PW is my favorite just from a usage perspective. From a comfortability perspective I know exactly what to expect out of it, and have finally got distances with it dialed in.For me it’s PW. I have hit so many good shots from 125-135. Expected nothing less from a distinguished gentleman like yourself.
Do you have the same shafts as in the apex irons?I’m wondering if it could be shaft. I may need to do some tinkering, because I love everything about these irons.
@Dougie does no wrongs.
I have the Dart Recoils 105’s in them. Not sure where to go or just keep grinding!!!Expected nothing less from a distinguished gentleman like yourself.
So what are you thinking tinkering wise? What’s in them now?
Same as in your Apex's then I'm assuming?I have the Dart Recoils 105’s in them. Not sure where to go or just keep grinding!!!
I have the F4 Recoils in my Apex.Same as in your Apex's then I'm assuming?
