Bad wedge day.. need these asap..

Not sure. 54, 58 something grind maybe. Maybe 60… I dunno
Well you had said on paper the X ticked a lot of boxes for you. Still thinking one of those?

For those that have the z grind in a lob, how does it perfom on firm turf/hardpan/firm sand? Can anyone compare it to the C grind in the full toe?

I can't compare the two. The 60z has been wonderful for me on those lies 90 and in to the green. None are full swings though.

Had it bent to 62 last night so new ball game today on the course.

54* built up now for the 58*

Full Toe vs Z

Tried the 58* out against some others today. I was able to test all the grinds except the W. They look good and feel ok but they’re not for me. The best performing was the X but even it was way behind a couple others. I’m glad I got to try them against other manufacturers because it showed me the importance of matching the player to the correct wedge. There are so many loft/bounce/grind combos that it’s really overwhelming if you can’t try them side by side.

Last but not least

I took my boy to the par 3 course this afternoon. Nearly holed this one with the 56°

I've been trying to figure out.. are we far enough along to post/link elsewhere content without it being a thing? Johnny had a great little explanation of the Raw adoption on Tour on a TXG video. It's the Callaway Tour Trailer vid and he says it at the 5:40 mark. How most of what the guys would want or have done after the fact usually, is already done on these heads. I thought it was well said and it's what immediately drew me to them and why I like them so much.

Just got done with wedge practice this morning. As you can see I'm not a center of the club face striker, but the 58 Z performed exceptionally for my skill level.

I'm completely sold on the skid plate design. This leading edge is VERY forgiving, buy you do not sacrifice any performance. Can't wait for my 1230 tee time today. The 58Z is quickly becoming my utility wedge! Time to clean the grooves too...

And here is the Chrome 58 Z clean after about 400 wedge shots. Some are full swings, but many are just short chips and pitches. The face is doing exceptionally well!

Had nice chip with the 54° S yesterday.
Hit my tee shot a little long and over the green.
Hit a beautiful heel up chip onto the green and actually hit the pin and bounced out. Think it would have gone in however the course uses a sleeve on the pin so the you can use your putter to bring up the ball out of the hole. The sleeve is metal so when you hit it the ball tends to ricochet off of it

Eh. Center face is overrated. ;)

Man these things have some serious bite to them. I find myself coming up short because I'm playing for rollout and just not getting as much as i was used to with my last wedges. I'll get used to it but it's been instantly noticeable.

My 60Z has had a cool sort of half and half finish the last couple days.
