A couple weeks ago my dad was at the course when he heard that distinctive sound. You know the one. He looked up to see his 7 iron head soaring majestically through the air where no club head has any business soaring. It was within the 1-year Callaway pre-owned warranty period. Fast forward to today, I got customer service on the line and his new 7 iron is on the way, preferred grip installed, with a prepaid label to send back the broken one.
 
It's great when companies honor their warranties without any real hassles.
 
Callaway's customer service is tops, glad (but not surprised!) to see they stepped up for your dad.

Glad they helped you out. I bought a hybrid from them in Oct and it was stated to be std length but it was actually -1/2". They took the return back no problem and sent me an RMA which I promptly sent it back. The RMA said it would take 10-14 days to get my refund. They received the club back on 11/4. I called them on 11/18 and they said I would see my refund by 11/22. Nothing yet, so now I am going to have to call them a 2nd time. I need to close the account that the refund will be issued to, so I have had to wait to do that. It's getting frustrating plus not having my $165 back as well.

Back in 2018, the 8-iron clubhead of my Apex CF-16's flew off the shaft and right into a murky pond off the par-3 tee box.

Although I was at least the sets' third owner, and the Steelfiber i95 was a custom shaft that they didn't offer, they replaced the 8-iron with a new i95 shaft free of charge. All I had to do was send the headless used shaft back to them. They shipped immediately, however.
