Callaway Quantum Driver Line – The Next Evolution of Speed

It is such a massive improvement visually over the Elyte line.

I loved the Ai Smoke crown and the Quantum gives that vibe but with a darker tone. It is so good.

And while you don’t see the sole design on the course, it looks fantastic.

It appears looking at the website, that the crowns are different on the models. Some are glossy and some are matte.................is that true? Or am I just thrown off by the pictures on the website.

Question for the Grandaddy crew. Why the change in fairway woods to decouple loft and lie, but not in drivers?

Cost would be a huge concern. They mentioned how many fitting carts they have out there that would need replacing. I personally think Callaway's driver COG has been the best for a long time.

This tech story with the tri-face is very very compelling. Having played the Elyte Ti this year, I know I want some more titanium in my life! Can't wait to give these a try. Thinking of the TD Max and the Max is probably my sweet spot.

Just to clarify - the weight ports on TD are neutral and fade, no draw. Draw is on the optifit, as you mention.

I had seen that, but from a time perspective I'm curious how long of a time span it took for them to go from concept to final design.

The multiple models are available on the website and in the staff article. Of interest to me is the hidden weight in the back of the driver that is 13g with a 1g weight to counter the empty space.

For the first time on release the Triple Diamond max is available. I was fit into this model. Its the only one I hit. Its the only one I needed to hit. Designed to be a neutral face angle that is low spin. The Opti-fit cog remains the same. The reason is simple. Its very effective and with the multiple head designs and lofts there is something for everyone. The driver isn't designed to hit off the deck so changing into the adapter from the hybrids and new to this year woods isn't necessary. Being completely honest with the group of Grandaddy participants, it was also noted that it just wasn't worth the investment for the fitting carts. Makes perfect sense to me. More to follow.

I think the GD crew mentioned they have cameras all over ECPC collecting data on shots, so I'm sure it's not just robots

You use the normal club wrench. Easy peasy. You do need to keep an eye on the actual weights when removing.

My setup from GD was Quantum Max D 9* w/ Tensei Blue 55R shaft. I put my THP Proto LE (thanks again @outlawx ) in it when I got home and thing is now a weapon for me. Feel like that is the first time I've said that about a driver in my golfing life.

I am so jacked for the Shaft UP guys (hi @hedley_lamarr ) to see the gains they are going to get. It should be a homerun combo for everyone.

The adapter on the Optifit used on the driver goes upright. The need to have one go flat isn't as needed because of the lack of turf interaction and the overall cost of changing the fitting carts. Its just not needed

I am in the 10.5 head. I had played a 9° head the past two years, but the 10.5 was better launch and spin for me. I love it
