That was such a great shot. That 3 wood has been money for you!Played Jekyll Island last weekend with @will and we all had a par 4 green we were able to drive. I actually got there with my Quantum Max 3-wood, then 3-putt for par (The pin locations were tough that day). Solid 3-wood shot and there was never a doubt.

It's such a weapon. Easy to hit and launch. What shaft does it have?Golf Galaxy was offering me more trade in value than Callaway so ran down to the local store and picked this up.

Was able to buy and get it regripped for less than $80. Straight into the bag for my round this weekend.
Just the stock Frost Silver 70g. I was feeling spicy yesterday and didn't want to wait for a fitting. If I don't love the shaft I have others I can swap in. I historically get along with Callaway's stock offerings in FWs and hybrids too, played the Denali line for a bit the last two years as well, so it wasn't a hard choice. It's such a weapon. I was fit at ECPC using a Denali. I like that shaft in a fw. My fitter put me in a way nicer shaft he said I would like based on me doing well the Denali.Just the stock Frost Silver 70g. Didn't get along with it in the driver, but it has been all I could ask for and then some in the woods. I'm not saying something else might work better, but in terms of a stock offering. Solid as hell. Combined with the step sole and speed wave, the launch window is awesome.Just the stock Frost Silver 70g. I was feeling spicy yesterday and didn't want to wait for a fitting. I'm looking forward to finding out. I know it's nails from light rough. For those who came from Ai Smoke or Elyte fairways, how different does the upgraded Step Sole feel through the turf? I’m noticing the Quantum seems to glide a little easier on tighter lies.
Standard length?Got the Quantum Max 11 wood regripped with WellMXS Hyper grip and was using it again on the Skytrak this morning and man this club is just fun. It’s hilarious looking down at a wood with this much loft. It’s so easy to hit and it lifts the ball so easily. The launch and spin are great and I have no doubts that hitting and holding on greens is going to be simple. Cannot wait to get this out on the course.
Yep standard lengthStandard length?![]()
Did not have either of the aforementioned woods, but I can attest to how the Quantum is a missile launcher off of hardpan. Shots that I think should probably come out super spinny hold true. I've also been able to get the 7w out of thick rough a few times without problem. For those who came from Ai Smoke or Elyte fairways, how different does the upgraded Step Sole feel through the turf? Man... I can't wait to find out. I have the Ai Smoke 3W, 5W, & 7W. The 5W & 7W were easy to hit. The 3W is a 3W of course. I find my Quantum 7W & 9W incredibly easy to hit but have only had them on actual grass at The Hideaway. The 9W was my best club there by far though. For those who came from Ai Smoke or Elyte fairways, how different does the upgraded Step Sole feel through the turf? Well done. Remind me what you gamed before? Anything specific stand out to you as the difference maker for success?I had a phenomenal day with my Quantum 3-wood this weekend. Drove another par 4 (I know we played the white tee's, but we're driving par 4's with fairways! @will).
I'm hitting 20% GIR with my Quantum 3-wood, which to me is great. I'm usually 225+ away from the green when I pull this club. This is such a beast off the tee or from the fairway!
Absolutely smoked for a guy that forgot to even try it on the range hahaMan... I can't wait to find out. I have the Ai Smoke 3W, 5W, & 7W. The 5W & 7W were easy to hit. The 3W is a 3W of course.
