Thanks for giving me an example I can understand! Honestly. Everyone has been raving about the step sole but I didn't really understand why until you said this.

Effortless, you can hear my opponent in the background say "automatic" because the woods were on that day!
I like the less rounded bottom of the Quantum Max.
More area to find the ball on those mishits.

Yeah and having experienced them both oh yeah this design does it better. Love my rogue but the Quantum just Leaped past it!
For me I an seeing the same ball speed, spin, and distance numbers that I was with my Rogue LS. I hit the Quantum TD 5w at ECPC a few times trying to decide and it was great, but the Max was didn't disappear to the right as often. It was definitely my swing but the Max kept me closer to the middle with less effort and dude I'm not kidding when I say they are stupid fast off the clubface!

Good stuff here James. I love the look of that sole and the club overall has a very nice shape. If I was in the market for a fairway, these would definitely be at the top of the list. I love the idea of more forgiveness low on the face.
Gets thru the turf a bit easier. Feels every bit as fast with just a bit more height. (I haven't been able to compare exact same shafts due to the adapter change so that could be part of it.) The biggest thing for me though is the forgiveness low on the face is even more now which is my miss with 3w. Ti was still great in that regard but I swear if I miss center low with this, it's maybe losing 5 yards max so far in my testing. I need more actual on course time with it because 3w is the worst for me on a sim, but the couple shots I hit with it at The Hideaway and what I was seeing at ECPC don't have me missing anything from the Ti. The Ti probably still edges it ever so slightly in pure distance, but full package this wins.
I find the revised step-sole really intriguing. Seems like it will produce great turf interaction.
It really is amazing how easy these are to hit. I'm not blowing any smoke when I say the FWs might be my favorite part of the release this year besides putter.
Definitely looking at FW upgrades this season!!! Loving the looks of the Quantum, can't wait to try them out!

You were automatic off the tee with the 3W. Loved to see it!
Maybe already answered, but there is no Triforce face in the FW. An optimized AI face, but no TriForce. We did ask... It's not just a copy/paste thing going from driver face to FW face.
That said, it does not fall short on speed/distance.

I really wanted to love the Elyte, but the face is just too shallow for my tastes and looks like the same this year. Love the step sole, love the feel, etc but I just don't like a really shallow face on my woods. A few mm makes a big difference in my brain.

Apparently the step sole made an impression on Tour as well, since they decided to keep it in this years models. I do like the shallow face designs on all of these.
They aren't making a strong 3W in any of these? I guess that means you have to invest in the mini driver?
