That's a big 5W dude!Had this shot off the tee Saturday. Just a nice easy swing, high tight draw, and was less than 3 feet from the 150 marker.
The Quantum Max 5 wood has been a stellar addition to the bag!

This thing goes!That's a big 5W dude!
For sure... I hit a 7W about 220 last Sunday.This thing goes!
Good lord Jandice! Where’s that Denzel gif when you need it?For sure... I hit a 7W about 220 last Sunday.
The forgiveness and explosiveness of the face is the best I've ever played in a fairway wood. I've hit some bombs with my 3w and 5w when I'm only aiming for solid contact. That should tell me something about my game.I've been struggling lately with the 3 wood and actually went to a fitting to put the mini driver in the bag. I'm still on the edge with that one but I'll say I had my best night ball striking with the Quantum Max 3w yesterday that I've had in a long time. When used by the right person, this thing is a beast.
Course I play league at has a short 260-270 yd par 4 on the back. You hitting 6i there?Pretty sure I hit the longest 3w of my life today. I hit a low (for me) hard draw, and it hit in the fairway in a speed slot and rolled out to 325.
No lol. I had a crazy amount of roll on my shotCourse I play league at has a short 260-270 yd par 4 on the back. You hitting 6i there?
What do you think are causing the struggles?I've been struggling lately with the 3 wood and actually went to a fitting to put the mini driver in the bag. I was blaming it on the shallow face honestly, but that should actually be a positive for high handicappers off the tee. There’s something that’s been causing me to get steep with this club and I’ve skied shots off the tee because of this. It’s me, not the club. But I’m going to stick with this because when it’s on, it’s freaking on.What do you think are causing the struggles?
Was distance where you like to see it as well? Before trading it in, I decided to try my newly-acquired-via-trade Quantum Max 5w with Denali Frost 70g 6.5 shaft. I don’t play x-flex but this didn’t seem that stiff. I was hitting off a range mat but man, I was impressed. I hit around 12-15 balls and only one didn’t hit a nice high window. Most shots were leaking a little right but it was pretty consistent for me. It was more in line with what I was hoping the Quantum Ti 5w would be for me. Maybe I am a shallow (face) fairway wood player after all. I think I might try the same shaft but 6.0 and see if I get the starting line a little more left and see if it can knock my Elyte Ti 3HL out of the bag.
