Thanks. I’m going to hit the irons and Driver in the next couple weeks.I am pumped for this season. I will let you hit anything you want my friend when we next play.
You might be pleasantly surprised. They aren't as slim as the Elyte or Ai Smoke were. They're still not shovels, but they have that confidence inspiring GI look.Whew these babies are slim. I know some might find it looking alittle busy but it’s pretty clean. I’ll definitely give these guys a demo when I’m in the pga ss. Along with the other Quantum stuff![]()
So the Max doesn't go with an overall lighter build in the HL? That would makes sense since they also offer the Max Fast build being lighter. If I remember correctly, the HL spec is a higher lofted version each club in the bag. The Quantum Max Fast being the lightest option available.
Maybe I will end up hitting your stuffThanks. I’m going to hit the irons and Driver in the next couple weeks.
If the badge is the only hangup, then I think Callaway did a fantastic job with these irons. My favorite part of the clubs, looks wise, is the undercut. That really sold on me on "I could look at these everyday".I dig everything about this, making it faster and more forgiving. I live low on the iron face, so being able to benefit from changes there is amazing.
My only hangup? I just don't dig that Quantum badge on the back (FWIW, not a fan of any of the OEMs that do badging similar).
Looks like a very solid release overall. Love the inclusion of the Max Fast to help people looking for more!
Once you hit them you will get over it. I don't love the Quantum on it but do love the Callaway.I dig everything about this, making it faster and more forgiving. I live low on the iron face, so being able to benefit from changes there is amazing.

Agreed, the Callaway badging looks great on the Quantum Max irons.Once you hit them you will get over it. I don't love the Quantum on it but do love the Callaway.
They def remind me of Big Bertha irons. The 2008 Big Bertha's are my fav iron set ever. Still have them and my oldest games them all the time still as they are so easy to hit (he's best golfer in house too). These def rival those in terms of that ease.Only new set of Callaway I ever played was the XR series. Theses remind me of a throwback iron that’ll optimally perform. Like the sole design and for the category, pretty basic, plain looking iron. Not full of plastic crap in the cavity as most usually are. I like a plain,no frills looking cavity myself.
Could you post an angle like this:If the badge is the only hangup, then I think Callaway did a fantastic job with these irons. My favorite part of the clubs, looks wise, is the undercut. That really sold on me on "I could look at these everyday".

Really great idea to introduce tri-sole for these irons! They look stellar - great job Callaway!
Not just the standard Tri-sole but a “progressive Tri-sole”Well this looks familiar. View attachment 9405171
Yep... good call. I felt the same on the OS.Agreed, the Callaway badging looks great on the Quantum Max irons.
For those curious, I did try the Quantum Max OS as well. They were too chunky for me personally, but they are going to work wonders for a lot of people. I would say they have the market for golfers who don't quite want to give up the feel of playing a stock iron for something lighter like the Max Fast but don't swing fast enough to play the standard Quantum Max. Being that you can HL spec each package, there's something for everybody to love.
Appreciate the clarification my man!Not just the standard Tri-sole but a “progressive Tri-sole”
A question I asked was:
Similar to wedges do we see a benefit to the Tri-sole changing between player types? The answer was a definite yes and why we see an updated Tri-Sole for this line of clubs.
Last 6 rounds I’ve bagged FF XL Halos great success but I’m always ponderingThey def remind me of Big Bertha irons. The 2008 Big Bertha's are my fav iron set ever. I’m a fan of easy and repeatable! At the fitting range, to warm up, the fitter handed me the Max OS 9i. It was simply the easiest highest launching 9i I have ever hit. On repeat. It was the best start to a fitting I have ever had - really eased me into the process.
I didn’t fit into them as I saw some better numbers in the TiFusion 250, but I have been thinking about these irons ever since. I want to hit them again as they were really fun.
It was like a warm blanket. Almost didn’t want to let it go.I’m a fan of easy and repeatable!
But I think yours is backwardsI kid I kid.
They made improvements to the Tri-Sole across all iron lines. At the Q & A they stated this was even Tour validated. I played Srixon before switching to Callaway last year. The Tri-Sole is right up there w/ the V-Sole. Both so good.View attachment 9405273View attachment 9405272
I'm pleasantly surprised. This is an awesome development.
We can't quite copy the patented Srixon V-Sole (It's dang close), but damn if this doesn't look like a nice improvement in leading and trailing edge bounce.
