Off Course is back this week with a fantastic show and this is episode 153. Hosted by Dan Edwards, each Friday he gives you a deep look into the world of golf and equipment in a way unlike any other podcast has done before. Today, Kim Johnson, Retail Marketing Manager of Callaway Golf joins the show and they The REVA story.

It wouldn’t be Off Course without some tangents, but Dan and Kim talk about her journey in golf and the evolution of women getting fit for clubs. This show has a lot going on and is one you will not want to miss as Kim Johnson goes Off Course.

Episode 154 is here and Dan and Kim Johnson discuss the following topics.

The Callaway REVA Story
Kim’s WITB
Women Getting Fit for Clubs
The Grandaddy of Em All
And so much more

Firing this one up shortly!!!! I mean it’s all about some Callaway goodness…plus I see Grandaddy mentioned!!!

Going to another great Off Course - "Hello you legends!" (I have not started it yet, but every week I feel like you're talking to me)

Will be tuning in later this morning.

First 1/4 of the show is so good…jumped right into @callmedaddy background and the Grandaddy! Trolling @JDax 😂😂😂.
Time to take on the next 1/4 after this meeting and learn more about REVA!!!

Wonder if I can get my wife on board with this one.

Kim is a great listen in this environment.

very well timed episode as I just made a thread about getting some clubs for the wife. Tons of good info in here (y)

yes sir! We're going through the same thing in my house right now, debating just regripping the old clubs or going for some new hotness.

I absolutely LOVE how personal she took the commentary on the preview show hahahaha

It's so funny, and it's so true. Judge a golfer by their handicap, get fancy forum names 😄

Okay yep, this was a good one - as they all are.

Thanks for making Friday morning fly by.

Listening in now

Can't wait to listen to this one. We've been pondering new clubs for the wife for a while now.

For you guys pondering for/with the wife, what are you thinking? Full bag, specific clubs, what's the strat?

I think we're going to end up maybe starting with irons. Her driver and fairway wood are a bit newer. That said, I really want her to try a hybrid since she's never used one before.

This one has been a favorite of mine so far…

I think the driver is where she will have the most success. She has a $15 bargain bin one  that she will hit at topgolf or the like once every couple years. Borrowed a Reva set from our club for a scramble recently and it was obviously a ton better. had a lot of success with the hybrids as well. irons and wedges were meh. I think the weight and her being so petite got to be a bigger issue with those.

I think the game plan will be new Driver and one or two hybrids; used one or two short irons, and a wedge (possibly just reshaft some i have laying around). Really pondering some of the 8 piece sets out there like the Reva but that's still probably a little overkill at this point.

I think driver, 4 middle clubs, putter. That'll be enough for her to cover distances and see if she wants to keep going.

This should be another good one. Moving it to the top of the queue and I'll listen as soon as I start work today.

I’m going to listen after this call I’m on…

@callmedaddy is a legend it was awesome to get to hang with her last year at the grandaddy and play a round with her. She didn’t have her best stuff that day but was still awesome..

Still listening, but can I put in an early request for the Preview Crew not to poke the bear this year?
