So...I've long coveted the Seamus Golf head covers, but unfortunately the shipping costs, customs etc. there's no point for me to order them to Finland.

But...an old suit, my wife's sewing machine and some trial and error, and I've got my first prototype. It's not perfect, and it can even look crude, but it's a start. The hardest part was to get it right from a already used fabric, as in a sleeve. The inside was hard to get placed without cutting all the seams, which I didn't want to do, so that's a bit uneven, but I will practice the whole winter, so maybe I'll have a bunch of good looking head covers come summer.

The suit was actually wool, so it should be quite durable and dirt resistent.

Driver cover only, since I tend to love the THP putter covers :D

That looks awesome! Great idea!

Did you cover the inside with a soft fabric as well?

Yes, I had a piece of red cloth (elastic even) that I put inside, but I will make the next one with some more padding and I will cut the inside to match the outside, so it's going to be 2 or 3 layers.

Well done castor!

Local thrift/resale shop could give you plenty of jackets cheap

That is the plan :)

I've got a few jackets at home that will be the first ones to go, but my big dream is to find a grey tweed jacket and the inside would be made of a college shirt with 80's superhero / comic theme :D

Very well done Henri! I know you like the THP putter covers but what about fairway woods or hybrids next?

I can't hit my 3-wood...it doesn't deserve a cover ;)

But yeah, a matching set would be the thing to do.
