for sleep I've had the best success with GABA, I think I got it from vitamin shop. Its a natural inhibitory neurotransmitter that is released when it is time for bed/the lights go out. Coincides with melatonin (i never had luck with that though).. our issue now is synthetic light (tvs, phones, etc) that trick our brain into thinking it is still daylight, so it doesn't release gaba

Non narcotic, non drowsy etc. Hope it may work for someone
