I am on vacation in SandPoint Idaho visiting family and decided I would make the 6 hour drive to meet a friend in the greater Seattle area to play some golf. Was able to get a twilight tee time at Chambers Bay which is a course I have been wanting to play since the US Open a few years back. Course was in excellent shape but an extremely hard walk. They have no carts at the facility and it’s walking only. I always walk when I play and consider myself in decent shape but this course wore me out. Make sure to have very comfortable shoes if playing here. So here are a few picks of the course.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. One course I would like to play some day.

How did you hit them?

Awesome photos, what a golf course! Reminds me of Arcadia Bluffs a bit. What was your favorite hole?

Having just played there I thought the exact same thing!

Beautiful pics @time4tim hope you played well

Looks like you had awesome weather. I played 2 rounds there a few years ago with similar conditions. Great course with fantastic views.

Stupid coronavirus cancelling our PNW trip. So jealous you got to play and what awesome pictures!

Beautiful pictures there

Awesome photos. Thanks for posting.

Great pics. I freaking LOVE Chambers Bay. I find the whole property just has a different aura about it - like you've been transported to a different continent.

Such a fun round man. I would love to get out there again

Did you avoid the “Tiger bunker” in the middle of the fairway on 18?

I thought that bunker was actually a lame gimmick. 18 was a good enough hole without that stupid bunker. I avoided it and had a about a six footer for birdie that I promptly missed as it died off to the right of the hole.

What makes it difficult to walk the course? Is it elevation changes, and, or, long distances from greens to tee boxes ?
It’s very steep on many holes. More so on the front side. Pace of play was a huge problem there also as we barely finished playing by 9pm after starting at 4pm.

I was Tim's +1 for the round at Chambers Bay. Enjoyable course, except for that coffin bunker on 18 and a couple quirky green complexes (think the back edge of 16). And that walk about killed me too
