Changing Shafts

I apologize if this is a dumb question, but I am looking at changing shafts. My shafts are almost brand new and my grips are new as well. I would like to keep my ferrules as well. Are these all pieces that can be saved or will the club builder have to replace my grips and ferrules when replacing my shafts? I want to move over to graphite shafts from steel and possibly sell my basically new steel shafts but use my same grips on the new graphite shafts.

Again, sorry if this is a dumb question! Not someone who builds their own clubs and I would be taking them to a builder.

They can all be saved but the ferrules would be a little more tedious work but possible by the fact of starting with a steel shaft. Might cost you more from the time involved with saving the ferrules.

Yea it's not the cost, just unsure if I can buy just he ferrules from the OEM
