Hey guys, well recently I’ve been really working on my stance and setup position. I tend to get my hands a little far out (away from my belt buckle) and I wanted to check it. Now, I’m no Tiger or Rory, but I found some good articles and photos online and decided to replicate those shots for me, and then overlay photos.
This is just a simple, but fun, exercise to see how my stance compares to theirs, and I hope prove to show myself what I could be doing better in the setup.
First, I checked my mid-iron against Tiger.
Then here we are overlaid.
Driver side by side.
And driver overlaid.
I feel pretty good about my setups. As you can see my hands are definitely pushed out on both setups, especially driver. My spine looks to be a little more upright with driver as well.
For fun, I overlaid Tiger and Rory. Remarkably similar.
