Chipping - Glove on or off?

Usually off

Usually off once I get inside 100 yards.

There were times where I either forgot to take my glove off or felt rushed and putted with my glove on. I know it most likely makes no difference for a hack like me but it felt weird and I felt less confident for some reason. Lol. I get mad when I forget to take it off to putt. Haha! 🤷‍♂️
I am the opposite as I always putted glove on and even played with two gloves at time when I was younger (I hade grip issues I now know were probably mostly about grip size) and I also just hate taking the clove on and off and putting a sweaty glove back on so glove on feels comfortable to me,

Off. I have better feel chipping without a glove on.

Off. I get more Feel on non Full Shots

I dont ever take my glove off, even to putt. For no other reason than taking the glove off will make it easier to lose. I lose everything.
I'm the same, glove on the whole round.

Glove on for me.
I went through a phase years ago with it off.
Ended up going back
I take it off to putt.

For me I don't think it really makes a difference.

Out of habit of not wanting a crazy tan line, I'll take my glove off once I know I'm going to be 50ish yards or in. Once it gets a little colder out I'll often just leave my glove on for everything. I can't say I've ever noticed some sort of drastic change there.

Glove off for me. Not sure why - but it’s a feel shot I guess?

I'm a glove on type of guy for all shots except for putts. I think it's mental at this point, but chipping without a glove just doesn't feel right to me

Glove on for me.

If I am wearing gloves that day, they stay on all the time.

I wear two gloves mainly to protect my hands from sun damage, during the hot sunny months.

My preferance is to not wear gloves when ever possible.

I leave it on. If the new Callaway glove is as thin as reported, I might leave it on while putting

I take my glove off about 30 yards and in for some reason. Couldn’t even begin to tell you why 🤷🏻‍♂️

Off if I’m inside of 20 yards but sometimes i keep it on if the mojo is off

I never wear a glove.

When I did wear a glove, I only took it off to putt.

Most of the time I leave it on but occasionally it will be off
I am the opposite. There are some times when its hot or just slippy that I will leave a glove on else I typically take mine off.

Glove on
I leave my glove on most of my round, only take it off to go to the bathroom or to get something to eat.

Off for anything inside about 30-40 yards.

Does it matter? Probably not...I tell myself that it allows me to "feel" the shot better...or something.

Off for almost everything off the green except from bunkers

Just out of curiosity for those that take their glove off for "feel." What exactly are you trying to feel? Once you start your downswing there's not much you can change. The ball is on the face for a fraction of a second so you can't really do anything after that point. I'm not arguing good or bad because it's all preference, I'm just lost when trying to think of what benefit there is to "feeling" more.

I leave mu glove on for all shots, including chipping and putting, for consistency of "feel".

It really depends, but more often than not I have my glove off and usually have one on from the greenside bunkers 99% of the time

Your call.

If you have a thicker glove, you may want to take it off.

As I'm going to the green, I am usually taking my glove off ... so it will be off or on when chipping. Don't want to wait until I get to the green. But depends on how I feel that day, i.e. I usually don't care - doesn't affect my feel whether I have a wedge or hybrid to chip.

Also depends on the heat and humidity - if my hands are slipping, it stays on.

I don't often wear a glove, but when I do I leave it on even for putting. Lexi Thompson style!
